The Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and testing electrical designs for specialized equipment. This position has comprehensive knowledge of equipment, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions and participates in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design and equipment construction, and installation support of designed equipment and confers with other engineering staff for programming and site startup support.

This is an on-site position in the Cincinnati, Ohio, Blue Ash area.

Responsibilities

• Designs and conducts research to evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications.
• Assists field engineers with installation of designed systems and verifies proper build of designed systems.
• Develops electrical products that conform to standards and customer requirements, researches and tests manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 – 8 years previous professional electrical engineering experience
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.

Job Description

An employer is seeking Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a strong focus on manufacturing data collection, pilot execution, and process control to support medical device production in the Blue Ash, OH area. The Automation Fabrication Technician plays a primary role in the day-to-day operation of Trew’s advanced sheet metal fabrication system. This state-of-the-art system is comprised of many elements including Laser cutters, press brakes, folder, part sorting robots, part forming robots, and automated sheet metal storage and retrieval.

The Automation Fabrication Technician is a key member of Trew’s fabrication team and has a wide range of responsibilities across all elements of the system. They possess a diverse skillset and contribute to the entire value stream including capacity planning, machine programing, machine operation, final quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation:
• Operate all key elements of the sheet metal fabrication system.

Responsibilities:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to support the manufacturing efforts. The CMM programming will be done using PC DMIS software. The role will include writing, editing, troubleshooting, and validating CMM programs to be used for measurement of jet engine components. The Process Engineer develops, enhances, and troubleshoots CMM programs for dimensional inspection of manufactured aerospace products. The Process Engineer must be able to read and interpret drawings and prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop CMM programs using PC DMIS software, an advanced level of PC DMIS offline programming is expected.
• Read and understand prints/drawings and have an advanced knowledge of GD&T.

• History of successful delivery using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies in real-world consulting environments.
• Familiarity with modern software development lifecycles, including DevOps practices and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with delivery and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive alignment and decisions.
• Strategic thinker able to operate effectively at both the macro level (account and delivery vision) and the micro level (execution details).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience acting as a delivery owner across multiple projects or accounts
• Strong business and commercial awareness
• Experience influencing delivery beyond direct project ownership
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
• Certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe) valued but secondary to demonstrated ownership
