ASRC Electrical Troubleshooter Responsibilties:

-Safely maintain plant electrical power distribution including transformers, switch gears, panels and associated wiring. Troubleshoot and repair all plant electrical systems

such as balers, robots, conveyors, etc.

-Must be able to troubleshoot and repair components such as motors, starters, PLCs, etc.

-Compliance to all safety requirements is a must, such as LOTO and PPE equipment

- Effectiveness of all interventions (prevent breakdowns, cure the default within an optimized time, solutions to deal with recurring defects / problems...)
- Efficiency of all interventions (resources used, consumption of spare parts)
- Documented interventions and quality of the encoding

THE OPPORTUNITY

Supports the Site Safety Initiatives in the implementation of the Security and Emergency Response policies at the site. Guarantees the function of the Security installations on the site. Participates in the organization of Prevention, Protection and Security Intervention (access control, surveillance, intrusion, Security incidents).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Prevention/Protection:Ensure that security provisions are permanently operational to guarantee risk control on site (checks, tests, equipment controls, rounds, etc.). Apply, respect and enforce the instructions, (internal regulations, security instructions, management of access and keys, control of people, "luggage" and vehicles, ...). Carry out and document the PP (Fire and Safety) rounds. Verify, test and control the installations, equipment and means. Carry out the verification plans and control plans for which he/she is responsible. Implement, for the Security part, the EP3 process (Operational Control and Emergency Plan) within the framework of the SMEP. Ensure that all provisions are respected to prevent and contain security risks. Contribute to the capitalization of experience by participating in analysis of all safety-related events that have occurred on the site. Monitor and operate the alarm centralization boards. Implement temporary arrangements when required. Apply "Logistics" instructions to carriers (weighing, sealing, transport documents, etc.)

* Intervention: Intervene in case of intrusion alarm, incident, disaster or malicious act. Apply pre-established instructions or orders given in case of unforeseen circumstances. Use reflex sheets in the event of an event. Evaluate an event situation and report accordingly. Alert the Site Safety Manager and those responsible to any serious anomaly or any situation of persistent risk and apply the necessary emergency measures, including first aid. Conduct PP operational interventions (reception/transmission of alarms, emergency calls, etc.)

* Information / Communication: Ensure the reception (physical or telephone) according to the rules of the Management Staff. Inform any newcomer (or incoming) to the applicable site security rules. Reception and transmission of telephone calls. Write the handrail and anomaly reports. Provide information on Fire and Safety indicators, monitor progress and guarantee quality.

Job position: USA Plant Manager

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Kentucky manufacturing facility, overseeing both high-volume assembly production and CNC machining operations.

This position will play a critical role in scaling operations, optimizing performance, and building a strong manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and optimize plant operational management systems, including SOPs, TPM, MES, and related systems.
• Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products meet required standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead daily plant operations, including assembly production lines and CNC machining.
• Drive performance targets across safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
• Oversee CNC machining operations (multi-axis machining centers, EDM, etc.).
• Improve cycle time, reduce scrap, and increase equipment utilization (OEE).
• Manage production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and manufacturing teams.
• Control plant operating budget and manufacturing costs.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in plant or operations leadership.
• Direct experience managing CNC machining operations.
• Experience in high-volume assembly manufacturing preferred.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Plant startup or facility expansion experience.

Michelin Louisville is seeking Engineering Co-Op students majoring in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, and Electrical Engineering to join the team at our plant in Louisville, KY.

In our petrochemical facility we produce synthetic rubber from monomer feedstocks and catalysts, through a polymerization reaction.

The product, after other operations, is carefully weighed and pressed into uniform bales before shipping to the next Michelin factory for tire production.

Our facility supplies various rubber products that go into tires in the USA, Canada, and in Michelin factories around the world. Our site is one of the three Michelin petrochemical sites producing synthetic rubber for cars, vans, trucks, two-wheelers, aircraft, agricultural tractors, and mining equipment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Support the Energy and Water Saving (EWS) Project. This role will contribute to sustainability initiatives by assisting in data analysis, project coordination, and technical research aimed at improving energy and water efficiency across operations.

• Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and resource efficiency projects.

Operations team member: the Business Unit Leader strives to boost the Shop's performance ahead of their own Business Unit. To accomplish this, they actively participate in:

• Sharing guidelines between Business Units and helping to contribute to the Plant performance in a collaborative manner. We maintain an outlook of "ONE MANUFACTURING TEAM" in all situations.
• Identifying and nurturing individuals with potential to advance their careers within the Shop. These individuals are cultivated within their Business Unit and then transitioned to other roles to meet business demands.
• Backing Shop choices even amidst uncertainty and adverse conditions that might affect their own Business Unit.
• Boosting the Business Unit's efficiency by regularly coaching and offering feedback to support team members.
• Offering feedback on the performance of support team members and suggesting ways for improvement.

• Achieve Business Unit SMQDC expected performance levels and respect of standards to satisfy customer demand.

• Uses sound problem-solving methodology to eliminate root causes of problems as they arise.

Digital and Innovation contributor: Adopt innovation, engineering, and technology ensuring the transformation is recognized as an opportunity for excellence by:

• Seeking opportunity to apply and encourage team to work with and use digital application where appropriate. Apply "use cases" to help team move forward to data-driven approach.
• Helping to build the foundations necessary for the transformation (data quality, competencies, organization, plant roadmap, collaboration with Site Digital Department).
• Supporting and triggering projects and initiatives that will develop capabilities aligned with the Michelin strategy. Highlight the importance to copy/paste digital good practices.

• A BS degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience in the Chemical Industry is required. MBA, Masters of Engineering are preferred.
• Having prior experience in managing within a unionized setting is advantageous.
• At least 3-5 years of successful people management (industrial setting preferred).
• Established history of managing employee performance effectively (incorporating attendance, productivity, skill growth, and talent supervision).
• A track record of effective industrial oversight (ensuring safety, optimizing production, maintaining quality, managing costs and budgets, etc).
• Proficiency in managing Industrial Site Utilities is beneficial (covering steam, wastewater, air, nitrogen, cooling water).
• Experience in Process Safety Management is advantageous.
