Seeking a Quality Technician 2 - Metrology Inspector.  Responsible for metrology solutions in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Provide metrology solutions including but not limited to: laser tracker/ PCMM inspections, machine alignments, reverse engineering, tool building and assembly, software and hardware training. Generate inspection reports to customer specifications. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. Welder Lead Job Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting up work sites for hot work, hot work chits, gas free certifications and fire watch coordination. Determines material requirements for repairs. Reads and works from basic work specifications and drawings. Manages welders and fitters to accomplish the scope of work provided, meet schedule deadlines, and comply with safety requirements. Inspects welder fit up prior to welding, documents fit up on the inspection log, coordinates NDT inspections with QA, accomplish 009-06 inspections, submits Inspection deficiency reports and conditions found reports. Harper Construction is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a large-scale military vertical construction project located at MCAS Yuma.

This role requires direct, relevant experience on ground-up vertical construction projects valued at $20 million and above. Candidates must have worked on complex federal building projects similar in size, scope, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality management duties, including quality of the works, material management, documentation, and close-out to ensure safe, quality, efficient, and effective project execution.

• Read specifications and resource documents to determine requirements and planning procedures.
• Responsible for leading and managing quality processes, including submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts.
• Creates and implements project-specific inspection and test plans and quality control plans.
• Perform the USACE three phases of control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up.
• Supports Site Safety to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Superintendent, QCM, or Project Engineer, on similar-sized and type construction contracts. (vertical construction valued at $20M+)
• At least two years’ experience as a Senior Project Engineer in construction.
• Must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1, and have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with USACE and/or NAVFAC is highly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a similar field
• Working knowledge of Procore document control system.
