TITLE: MEP Coordinator

POSITION SUMMMARY:
The MEP Coordinator is responsible for the specific mechanical and electrical construction of Mission Critical facilities (e.g., data centers) and other related construction projects. This position will supervise the Mechanical and Electrical trade contractors and equipment vendors involved in the project and coordinate all Mechanical and Electrical schedules, develop reports, follow processes, and complete documentation from pre-construction thru close-out.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Review Coordination and Arc Flash studies.

- Responsible for supervising all technical operations related to the department. (I.E. Structures, Bond Shop, Paint Shop, etc.)
- Monitors, reviews, and provides daily work assignments and expectations for completion of tasks, for each Mechanic / Technician in their department.
- Responsible for reading, understanding, and interpreting work instructions, technical data, engine repairs, drawings. Implements these areas to the scope of work.

- Conduct daily morning meetings with the respective departments.
- Communicate throughout each day, with Production Control and Production Manager, any hardware related issues or needs, and any schedule issues.

- Responsible for keeping the respective departments clean and organized daily and ensuring efficient workflow, and housekeeping standardsare met.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare complete, accurate, and timely estimates for all quote/bid opportunities.
- Develop and submit formal proposals for TxDOT, NTTA, and various municipal entities.

- Identify and document any deviations or clarifications from bid requests.
