Electrical Preconstruction Manager
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimating Manager to lead projects during the preconstruction phase for data center construction. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering accurate, efficient, and client-focused preconstruction services, specific to specialty contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead project manager during preconstruction, overseeing RFPs, estimates, design coordination, BIM, procurement, budgeting, deliverables, and client communications until the project transitions to construction management.
- Provide conceptual budgets and cost tools to support project qualification and business development.
- Coordinate and manage the estimating process for bids, including document review, bid strategy, and bid review meetings.
- Perform estimating, value engineering, and other client-requested pricing exercises as needed to meet deadlines.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project scope and budgets.
- Assist business development with contract review, legal considerations, and risk management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during preconstruction, attending meetings, conducting project interviews, and providing technical guidance.
- Track design changes, cost impacts, and change orders throughout the preconstruction phase.
- Manage project financials, including engineering and BIM budgets, billing SOVs, and establishing project budgets from estimates.
- Coordinate design activities with consultants, engineering teams, and subcontractors, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor preconstruction team members, delegating tasks, reviewing work for accuracy, and providing guidance to improve performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine preconstruction processes and best practices.
- Guide project managers during the design phase to ensure construction aligns with specifications, codes, and client expectations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred.
- Must have 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably in estimating, with a minimum of 2+ years of preconstruction management/leadership within electrical construction.
- Experience with electrical contracting and/or MEP coordination.
- Proficiency in electrical estimating, project budgeting, and cost management.
- Software knowledge in ConEst, Google Workspace, Excel, and Bluebeam.
- Experience managing design-build projects.
- Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to manage, mentor, and lead team members effectively.

Work Schedule
This position follows a 9/80 work schedule and is primarily based in Chesterfield, Virginia. When supporting the Aftermarket Group, approximately 80% of your time will be at our Richmond location, with one dedicated day per week at Chesterfield headquarters.
As a first responder to the railroad industry, all Cranemasters employees are considered on call for emergency support. Engineering management may request support outside normal hours to meet urgent operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Design: Develop new crane structures, overhaul existing designs, and create hardware for enhanced functionality. Apply abstract thinking, visualize 3D concepts from 2D drawings, and perform reverse engineering when needed.
- Testing: Validate designs through calculations, modeling, and prototyping. Conduct field testing to simulate real-world conditions, identify issues, and ensure compliance before full implementation.
Aftermarket
- Rebuild Projects: Lead inspections, refurbishments, and rebuilds of high-tonnage cranes and related machinery. Plan and execute repairs and upgrades to meet safety and industry standards.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams, troubleshoot issues remotely or on-site, and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Production
- Catalog Design Updates: Implement iterative design improvements for standard equipment models. Coordinate releases with management and manufacturing teams based on production schedules.
- Compliance & Delivery: Ensure all builds meet customer specifications and regulatory standards. Complete documentation, testing, and final handoff of equipment.
General Responsibilities

Note: This position is remote, but new hires must attend a 2-week paid, in-person orientation at our Perrysburg, OH headquarters.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Execute overhead distribution and make-ready design work orders while meeting quality, time, and budget expectations
• Apply established engineering design standards, NESC requirements, and internal processes
• Perform end-to-end make-ready, joint-use, and/or general distribution design
• Conduct permitting and easement research (pole ownership, ROW, property rights, approvals)
• Collaborate with team members to resolve design challenges and ensure accurate deliverables
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, DDS, PoleForeman, O-Calc, Katapult, or client systems
• Perform quality control reviews when required
• Support additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in make-ready engineering, joint-use design, or electric power distribution design (3+ years strongly preferred)
• Proven experience in utility pole design, including NESC application, clearance analysis, pole loading concepts, and preparation of construction-ready design packages
• Proficiency with CAD or MicroStation; experience with DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, or similar utility design platforms is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of power distribution construction practices, with the ability to learn utility-specific proprietary systems efficiently
• Must hold a valid driver’s license, maintain active auto insurance, and pass all required background, drug, and MVR screenings
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including minimal overnight travel when project needs require
• Ability to work a standard Monday–Friday schedule aligned to Eastern Time, with Central/Mountain/Pacific adjustments as appropriate

Role Overview
As a Patient Support Nurse at CareSimple, you will serve as a key liaison between our patients and clinical partners. You’ll build ongoing relationships with patients, conduct proactive outreach, monitor and respond to patient-generated health data alerts, and provide compassionate clinical guidance to help patients stay engaged and safe between provider visits. You’ll also guide patients through onboarding and device setup, address questions and concerns, and escalate clinical issues as needed. Utilizing our support ticket system, you will manage key logistics processes to ensure seamless delivery and support for remote monitoring devices, playing a critical role in the success of our RPM programs.
Responsibilities
- Patient Support & Care: Guide patients through initial onboarding and setup of their RPM devices with empathy and professionalism. Provide ongoing patient care touchpoints — answering clinical questions, offering health education, and supporting patient engagement and adherence throughout the monitoring program.
- Patient Alert Management: Monitor incoming patient health data alerts generated by RPM devices (e.g., out-of-range vitals, missed readings). Assess alert severity, apply clinical judgment to determine appropriate response, and take action following established protocols and clinical judgement, whether that’s direct patient outreach, care coordination, or escalation to the provider team.
- Technical Coordination: Provide basic troubleshooting for cellular-enabled devices and escalate issues via internal support tickets. Work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
- Device Logistics Oversight: Coordinate device ordering and fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Manage exceptions (e.g., reshipments, replacements, returns) and monitor the glucose supply auto-replenishment program. Track high-priority orders and proactively address risks to prevent delays.
- Documentation: Ensure clear and timely documentation across internal systems and, when applicable, in the customer’s EHR.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Preferred: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Preferred: Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification
- 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in telehealth, home health, or primary care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with seniors and underserved populations
