Construction Project Manager Consultant (Healthcare)
Post Falls, Idaho (Onsite 3–4 days/week)
Full-Time (Consultant), Exempt
$140,000 – $160,000+ (depending on experience) + Bonus
About the Opportunity
A leading global capital program management and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager Consultant to lead the delivery of a new healthcare facility in Post Falls, Idaho—just east of the Spokane, Washington area.
This is a high-impact role ideal for a professional with deep expertise in healthcare construction, strong stakeholder leadership, and a proven ability to deliver complex capital projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and healthcare stakeholders
- Align project execution with organizational and operational goals
Construction Oversight
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with design specs, codes, and healthcare regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate communication across healthcare leaders, executives, and project teams
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure adherence to healthcare construction standards (infection control, ADA, patient safety)
- Manage risk mitigation strategies and regulatory approvals
Budget & Cost Control
- Track project costs, manage change orders, and forecast budgets
- Provide value engineering recommendations
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of construction project management experience
- 5+ years managing healthcare facility construction projects
- Proven success delivering complex healthcare builds
- Strong knowledge of healthcare MEP (mechanical, electrical, low-voltage) systems
- Experience with commissioning, transition planning, and first-patient readiness
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Procore, or Primavera
Preferred Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- CCM (Certified Construction Manager)
- CHC (Certified Healthcare Constructor)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $110K – $140K+ (flexible based on experience)
