Job Summary:

The Systems Engineering and Test Center's Life Cycle Engineering Directorate is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.  Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. We are seeking a Depot Logistics Coordinator to join our team, located onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will be part of the Systems Engineering and Test Center, supporting products from design through validation, integration, and long-term sustainment.

What you will Do:

  • Logistics support for depot operations             
  • Brief external customers in Government Program Office, US Navy, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) on DLMF repairs and operations status
  • Track and maintain metrics for repairs and spares status
  • Perform as main POC for all depot FMS repairs; responsible for coordination from induction to return  
  • Apply PRISM, LOKI Depot Manager, CABS, Kofax PDF Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PPT) in daily activities  
  • Support update of Configuration Data Lists for depot repairs using LOKI, CABS, and PRISM
  • Collaborate closely with Raytheon partner site in logistics support of DTRM Regrain process
  • Perform as main POC for program and external customer with Regrain external delivery status and tracking
  • Maintain high level of exposure to Raytheon Sites, Factories, Customers, Leaders, Suppliers, and other Stakeholders
  • Collaborate consistently with other program functions, such as Contracts, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Production Control, Test Equipment, as well as factory personnel

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with factory operations and/or depot activities.
  • Experience with PRISM.
  • Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Understanding of depot hardware inventory, warehousing, and movements
  • Aptitude for preparation and presentation of system sustainment briefing materials to internal leadership and government agencies

The Senior Data Manager identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. The DM identifies, with help from the Program Office, the appropriate preparers, receives the data within PDM, reviews the data for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval and delivers the information to the customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

In addition, DMs are responsible for reviewing sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers, and routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the customer as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.

What You Will Do

  • Reading contracts for understanding of the deliverables

  • Working in a PDM system to capture, manage, and track data deliverables and/or receivables.

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to obtain requested data.

  • Proofreading data for compliance to the requirement(s)

  • Managing the data deliverable schedule and providing the data to the customer on-time

  • Learning and understanding contractually required markings applied to data.

  • Running forecast reports and providing them to the appropriate stakeholders

  • Providing metrics related to on-time deliveries and outstanding dispositions upon request.

  • Reviewing and approving sub-tier supplier statements of work for data requirements

  • Supporting program meetings and providing training to program personnel and customers and/or suppliers

You will also be responsible for partnering and collaborating with Hyperscale & AI customers, strategic suppliers, internal engineering, product management, program management, manufacturing, test and quality teams to ensure your products meet the rigorous standards and performance expectations of Jabil’s world-class manufacturing environments and our customers.

What can you expect to do?

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of all manufacturing test solutions for new and sustaining programs for rack-scale AI/ML and GPGPU and hardware accelerator-based server and storage platforms.

- Accountable for all onsite customer delivery commissioning tests as an extension of the manufacturing test capability.

- Strong ability to organize teams and drive the solution for multiple, complex problems cross-functionally and within various areas of technical expertise (hardware, software, firmware, performance, interoperability, etc.)

- Charged with ensuring the right level of execution discipline and engineering rigor is applied to all technical program deliverables – must lead by example.

- Empowered to make key decisions with respect to quality and features that may impact customer experience.

- Capable of influencing individuals, teams and executives to the level necessary to support delivery of programs within schedule, scope and budget boundaries.

- Able to understand how technical decisions impact the broader business, factories and customers and use these insights to lead the broader organization to optimized outcomes.

- Must be extremely detailed oriented while at the same time able to communicate complex issues in simple, actionable terms at all levels within the organization.

- Must possess a strong balance of technical skills, experience-based judgment and business acumen in all execution and decision-making activities.

- Strong ability to develop, grow and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships with peers, team members, executive leadership, customers and external partners at all times.

- Provide thought leadership and direct engineering support to multiple manufacturing sites in the areas of product, component and supplier expertise.

- Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are both shared and implemented throughout the Jabil organization.

- Guide technical and operational teams towards the successful resolution of complex and/or systemic product, process and material issues through the application of rigorous analytical methods.

- Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines).

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Primary technical interface for manufacturing rack test development efforts from concept through delivery.

- Own driving resolution of all issues regarding test solutions aligned with critical path.

- Reviewer and approver of technical risks, and contingency/mitigation plans.

- Can review and provide input to material plans, test plans, test reports, lessons learned.

- Owns preventative actions so gaps in E2E process or capability are addressed long-term.

- Accountable for managing manufacturing technical and quality excursions through indirect coordination and hands-on engineering analysis as it pertains to your test deliverables.

- Provide technical and product subject matter expertise to the factories and customers.

- Lead highly technical and innovative RFI/RFQ responses supporting new strategic and recurring business opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

- Strong technical program management skills. Able to lead and direct a broad cross-functional global team.

- Exceptional knowledge and experience regarding product development processes and tools.

- Experience and deep level of understanding of server, storage, networking and GPGPU and PCIe-based accelerator architectures.

- Working knowledge of OS, driver, firmware and hardware architecture, device interactions and ability to leverage expertise to determine root cause that lead to optimized solutions.

- Deep experience in process development and process improvement. Able to lead the development of complex processes spanning multiple functions and areas of expertise.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

- BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required; MS is preferred.

- 8+ years' experience in a software or hardware product development environment with enterprise server, storage or networking products is required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Prior experience directly or indirectly managing engineering and/or development teams.

- Experience managing remote, multi-national and geographically dispersed development teams.

- Domestic and/or international travel, up to 30%, may be required.
