The Effector Digital Products (EDP) department designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units which are supported from proposal through transition to production. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.
The Digital, RF and Power Team is seeking a Principal Digital Design Engineer with digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our team.
This position is 100% ONSITE in Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do
We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
The Principal Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including:
hardware designs with processors
FPGAs
memory
industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Minimum of 8 years of engineering digital circuit design experience to include at least 2 of the following:
Development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design
Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration
Experience with PCB design process and expertise in tools used to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer

A leading Space and Defense manufacturer in Los Angeles is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a technically complex production environment specializing in large, lightweight metallic structures and assemblies serving aerospace, missile, and hypersonic markets.
This facility focuses on metallic forming, precision forming, advanced spin forming, CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly integration. The Director of Operations will own full site-level operational performance and P&L accountability, driving production discipline across multi-step manufacturing routings involving machining, forming, welding coordination, heat treat, finishing, and final assembly.
This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership role for an operator who understands large-part CNC machining, tight-tolerance metallic components (aluminum highly desired), and the execution rigor required to scale throughput while improving margin performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all production operations across CNC machining, metallic forming, spin forming, fabrication, finishing, and assembly.
- Establish structured daily production management cadence to improve schedule adherence, throughput, and flow.
- Drive performance across large gantry milling, 3-axis and 5-axis machining environments.
- Optimize complex manufacturing routings spanning machining, deburring, forming, welding coordination, heat treat, and integration.
- Own site-level P&L performance, improving labor efficiency, equipment utilization, and cost control.
- Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing systems including 5S, SMED, TPM, and OEE-based performance management.
- Improve spindle utilization, setup reduction, preventative maintenance discipline, and machining efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to ensure production readiness and operational scalability.
- Build and lead high-performance manufacturing teams with strong shop-floor engagement.
Qualifications:
Required
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace or advanced CNC manufacturing environments.
- 5+ years leading a machining-intensive manufacturing operation with full production accountability.
- Experience producing large, tight-tolerance metallic components (aluminum strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated oversight of 3-axis, 5-axis, and large gantry milling environments.
- Proven P&L ownership within a manufacturing facility.
- Experience managing complex multi-step production flows and downstream processes.

Primary Function:
The International Captain functions as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of the aircraft on both Domestic and International missions. The Captain has direct responsibility for the safe operation of all aircraft assigned to him/her. The Captain is responsible for compliance with applicable company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and local, federal, and State regulations. S/he has responsible for the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew, as well as the timely operation of the flight.
Essential Roles, Responsibilities, & Accountabilities:
• The International Captain functions as the PIC of his/her assigned aircraft. The International Captain reports directly to the Director of Aviation | Lead Pilot. S/he is responsible for supervising his/her crew and commanding his/her assigned aircraft. When acting as PIC, the International Captain has final authority and responsibility for ensuring the safe conduct of the flight.
• The International Captain determines that all flight and ground operations comply with federal, local, and State regulations.
• The International Captain analyzes weather conditions and airspace information with the Co-Pilot and Relief Pilot (if assigned), making decisions regarding potential risks, risk mitigation, potential delays, rerouting, and/or flight cancellations. The International Captain coordinates with Scheduling to arrange alternate airport logistics (ground transportation, accommodations, etc.) for executive passengers if the flight schedule is altered during a trip.
• The International Captain is fully qualified to operate the flights to which s/he is assigned. S/he holds an appropriate and current airman’s certificate and specific training authorizing him/her to serve as PIC. We are currently looking for a Civil Project Engineer who is ready to engage in a large alternative delivery (CMGC) project in Los Angeles County. This project is a multi-year project that will widen the 105 freeway from the 405 to the 605. This widening will increase HOV capacity, reduce congestion along the corridor and introduce tolling to the 105. Phase one of the project is starting at $400 Million, and the remaining phases will push the project towards $1.1 Billion. This is a great opportunity to join the team as we are building the first phase and prior to the project breaking ground on the second phase and contribute to the success of this critical project to improve mobility ahead of the 2028 Olympics.
