Position Overview

Responsibilities: 1.
Manage and oversee the purchasing of all raw materials, components, and other supplies required for production.

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
3.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, improve prices, and set up terms of payment.
4.
Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
5.
Work closely with the production and engineering teams to understand their material requirements and ensure their needs are met.
6.
Analyze and predict potential risks and issues with the supply chain and implement proactive solutions.
7.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock at all times.
8.
Regularly review and update the company's purchase policies and procedures.
9.
Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of potential savings and efficiency improvements.

Stay up-to-date with market trends and advancements in the manufacturing industry.
Qualifications: 1.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role within the manufacturing industry.
2.
Proficiency in supply chain management, inventory management, and purchase management.
3.
Solid understanding of ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
4.
Proven track record in cost analysis and negotiation.
5.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to predict and navigate potential risks.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
8.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
9.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
