The Division of Pediatric Radiology at UPMC/University of Pittsburgh is currently accepting applications for Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologists. This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-house and remote home shifts. Applicants must have an MD degree or equivalent and be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania. The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will have responsibilities in adult neuroradiology including brain, head and neck, and spine. Specialization within neuroradiology is encouraged, including non-vascular interventional spine procedures. The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a candidate for a one-year long Pediatric Acute Care Fellowship program. Ideal candidate should either be someone who has completed or will complete a pediatrics, family medicine, or emergency medicine residency program in the United States.

One of only a handful of Pediatric Acute Care/Urgent Care fellowships in the country, our Pediatric Acute Care program is a one-year fellowship designed for clinicians interested in both community and academic medicine. To meet national core competencies, fellows will gain necessary clinical skills such as performing basic procedures common to urgent care and will gain experience with POCUS first-hand from top leaders in the field. Fellows will also be exposed to urgent care administration, telehealth, research, and education. Working closely with both acute/urgent care providers and the Pediatric Emergency Medicine division, fellows will have a wide breadth of mentorship available.

Acute/Urgent care-trained pediatricians are needed to provide the excellent in-person and remote clinical care that our patient population in Pittsburgh deserves. Senior FPGA Engineer

Delta Information Systems is seeking a hands-on Senior FPGA Engineer with strong RF communications and DSP experience under our GDP division to design and develop real-world aerospace telemetry hardware.

Job Overview

This role focuses on FPGA/DSP design for RF receivers, taking designs from MATLAB modeling through FPGA implementation, board bring-up, and system integration. You’ll work on mission-critical products used in flight test, missile test, range safety, and space applications.

This is a hardware focused engineering role, not a software only position. Candidates should have hands-on FPGA and board-level experience.

This is an onsite position located in Horsham, PA. Hybrid option may be considered. No employer visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• FPGA/DSP design and debug for telemetry RF receivers
• VHDL-based FPGA design, simulation, and verification
• MATLAB modeling to support DSP and system architecture
• Board-level development, PCB oversight, and lab bring-up
• Integration of embedded CPU and FPGA designs
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and marketing
• Documentation: requirements, test plans, design reviews
• Jira-based issue tracking and design reviews

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years in DSP-based product development
• Hands-on FPGA design experience (VHDL)
• RF receiver signal processing experience
• Familiarity with modulation schemes (PCM/FM, SOQPSK)
• Familiarity with FEC techniques (LDPC, Viterbi)
