PROJECT SCHEDULER

Job Objective
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. This role sets project milestones and deadlines, estimates labor requirements, monitors material deliveries, and coordinates timelines across departments. The Project Scheduler proactively identifies schedule risks and works with project stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Establish short-term and long-term project goals in alignment with overall project plans.
- Estimate labor requirements based on project timelines and resource availability.
- Coordinate project schedules with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure the teams are meeting established timelines.
- Track shipment arrivals and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Identify potential schedule delays and facilitate timely corrective actions.
- Revise and update project schedules as needed, including preparation for monthly customer progress reports.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and technical experts to define tasks, subtasks, and sequencing.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain project critical path schedules.
- Evaluate schedule performance and prepare project status and progress reports.
- Recommend actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
- Communicate project timelines, changes, and risks clearly to all stakeholders.
- Document scheduling processes and maintain accurate project records.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, project coordination, or production planning
- Proficiency with project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for schedule tracking and analysis
- Experience coordinating schedules across multiple departments
- Ability to analyze schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, construction, or engineering environments
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

Reports To: Director of Aviation | Lead Pilot
Primary Function:
The International Captain functions as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of the aircraft on both Domestic and International missions. The Captain has direct responsibility for the safe operation of all aircraft assigned to him/her. The Captain is responsible for compliance with applicable company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and local, federal, and State regulations. S/he has responsible for the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew, as well as the timely operation of the flight.
Essential Roles, Responsibilities, & Accountabilities:
• The International Captain functions as the PIC of his/her assigned aircraft. The International Captain reports directly to the Director of Aviation | Lead Pilot. S/he is responsible for supervising his/her crew and commanding his/her assigned aircraft. When acting as PIC, the International Captain has final authority and responsibility for ensuring the safe conduct of the flight.
• The International Captain determines that all flight and ground operations comply with federal, local, and State regulations.
• The International Captain analyzes weather conditions and airspace information with the Co-Pilot and Relief Pilot (if assigned), making decisions regarding potential risks, risk mitigation, potential delays, rerouting, and/or flight cancellations. The International Captain coordinates with Scheduling to arrange alternate airport logistics (ground transportation, accommodations, etc.) for executive passengers if the flight schedule is altered during a trip.
• The International Captain is fully qualified to operate the flights to which s/he is assigned. S/he holds an appropriate and current airman’s certificate and specific training authorizing him/her to serve as PIC. The authorization to act as an appropriately trained and qualified PIC will be designated in writing by the Director of Aviation | Lead Pilot.
• The International Captain ensures that s/he is physiologically and mentally prepared and capable of performing assigned duties on the flight schedule to the highest degree of safety and ‘fitness for duty’ standards as defined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or approved partner manual(s).
• The International Captain maintains the highest levels of professional standards in travel and industry settings.
• The International Captain, performing as a flight crew team member, strives to deliver the highest level of ‘customer service excellence’ to executive travelers and guests.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and type rating on each Company aircraft assigned; Good physical health and the ability to maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate required.
• Five (5) years of Domestic and International experience as a captain in a corporate aviation setting. Extensive turbine flight experience with 5,000 hours total flight time and a minimum of 2,000 hours multi-engine turbojet required.
• Type Rated in the G550 and G650.
• Non-commutable - willing to relocate or live within 2 hours of KVNY (Van Nuys airport).

This project is a multi-year project that will widen the 105 freeway from the 405 to the 605. Backup Storage Engineer will be responsible for all data backup/recovery support for cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services
- AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform – GCP, IBM Cloud), planning and upgrading the systems on a regular basis, checking the health of all the systems, and making necessary changes as required.
They will analyze issues reported by internal/external teams and making necessary recommendations; planning and designing systems architecture; working with customers to test applications after changes; upgrade hardware in a timely manner with a minimum downtime window; evaluate new applications software technologies; and/or ensuring the security products are patched on a regular basis.

Backup Storage Engineer will possess in-depth understanding, knowledge and experience of CommVault Complete Data Protection; VMware data protection and recovery using VADP (VMware vStorage API for Data Protection); be proficient in configuring storage arrays with business continuity solutions; perform upgrades; execute storage migration and data center consolidation projects; and administer Pure Storage solutions, including both hardware and software components.

Backup Storage Engineer will have a comprehensive understanding of IBM storage systems, including configuration and management; be skilled in managing Dell storage systems, with capabilities in setup, troubleshooting, and optimization; ability in NetApp storage solutions, such as ONTAP, SnapMirror, and SnapVault; scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, for automating storage management tasks and workflows; proficiency with UNIX systems (including IBM AIX, Linux, and HP-UX) and TCP/IP, along with administering networking hardware; and the ability to design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud solutions across various platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud.
They will possess strong oral and written communication skills, effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
Experience Required This classification requires, within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a backup administrator to a data backup system, similar to CommVault, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments; three (3) years of experience working with storage solutions from Dell/EMC, IBM, NetApp, and Pure Storage, covering both midrange and enterprise-class storage arrays; and two (2) years of experience using, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud-based backup, servers, and storage systems in enterprise settings.
Education Required This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
