Job Summary Key contributor within the organization that monitors, maintains, and enhances risk controls by analyzing quality data and major quality events to ensure Medline is properly controlling risks on a global level for medical devices, cosmetics, and OTC drugs.

Responsible for managing an automated risk-based trending system that will help the organization foresee risks as well as objectively proving that risk controls are effective.

Provide expertise to the organization including education, technical support, issue resolution, and integration of new or enhanced risk controls to be compliant with EU MDR along with satisfying FDA, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 risk management related processes throughout the product life cycle.

Collaborate with Medline’s R&D team during design and development, manufacturing teams to implement appropriate risk controls, post-market surveillance teams to determine if new risks have arisen, and Regulatory Affairs to support FDA inspections.

Job Description Responsibilities: Analyze and normalize multiple streams of data to gauge the health of the risk management system.

Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create a framework for Risk-based dashboards to be used for real-time decision-making and management reporting.

Provide detailed input to stakeholders on how to implement risk controls as well as create and implement controls Identify inefficiencies in Medline’s global quality management system.

Take action to address identified inefficiencies.

Develop timelines for all projects and ensure that deadlines and goals are being met.

Frequently update management and team on progress.

Qualifications: Education Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or Statistics-based degree.

Ideate visual concepts and refine design work based on creative direction
Develop visual identity platforms, systems, typography, color palettes, illustration, and iconography
Extend brand expression systems into interactive digital experiences
Concept, prototype, and execute brand and marketing experiences within product
Clearly articulate strategic thinking and design decisions to diverse partners
Provide and solicit feedback from UX design peers to support high-quality product development
Collaborate daily with engineering, content, research, marketing, and data science teams from concept to launch
Work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining timelines and demonstrating progress
Proactively identify and lead projects that span multiple teams, including facilitating or co-facilitating design sprints and workshops

This role focuses on the design, construction, and modification of pipeline and terminal facilities, with an emphasis on electrical and instrumentation systems(PLC's, ProLogic, Flow Meters, Acculode to Multilode) at the terminals.

The Engineer will serve as a technical specialist, developing scopes of work, engineering designs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities • System Design & Modification: Engineer electrical and instrumentation systems for new facilities and upgrades to existing pipeline and terminal infrastructure.

Does not need an expert in CAD • Standards Compliance: Apply NEC, NFPA, API standards, and other applicable codes to ensure safe and reliable operations.

• Control Systems Integration: Design and implement process control systems, including SCADA, PLCs, Terminal Management Systems, IT/OT considerations, and hazardous area classifications.

• Technical Documentation: Develop logic diagrams, cause-and-effect matrices, control narratives, and detailed wiring and termination drawings.

• Project Scoping: Define technical requirements and scope of work in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Electrical Engineering: Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, control circuits, and instrumentation wiring for PLC's and Flow Meters.

Currently using Acculode • Procurement & Costing: Prepare equipment specifications, procurement packages, and cost estimates for budgeting purposes.

• Vendor Coordination: Review and evaluate vendor proposals for equipment purchases and modernization projects.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in electrical and instrumentation engineering.

Experience: • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation design for pipeline and terminal facilities.

• Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, conduit layouts, instrumentation loops, and PLC hardware.

• Experience selecting electrical equipment for classified areas.

Preferred: • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
