Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls 4 to support project execution activities at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This role provides senior-level expertise in project planning, scheduling, cost engineering, and Earned Value Management (EVMS) to ensure successful delivery of complex technical projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project controls systems, cost estimating, schedule development, and financial analysis, with the ability to identify cost and schedule trends and provide actionable recommendations to project leadership.
This position works under consultative direction and may provide technical oversight and leadership for project controls teams, ensuring compliance with project objectives, schedules, and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project controls processes.
- Perform cost estimating, cost analysis, cost control, and financial reporting activities for complex projects.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify cost and schedule trends and provide analysis and recommendations to project leadership.
- Supervise or provide technical direction for planning, scheduling, and cost engineering activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or related field.
- 12+ years of related project controls experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong experience with cost estimating, cost control, and financial analysis for large projects.
- Demonstrated experience with schedule development, monitoring, and analysis.
- Experience supporting EVMS-based project environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and related tools).
- Ability to work independently and provide leadership on complex project assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in DOE, NNSA, or federal project environments.

Position Overview
COMPA Industries is seeking an experienced Work Control Planner 2 to support operations and maintenance planning activities at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This role supports the execution plan of PF-4 glovebox installation and facility operations and requires the development and coordination of detailed work packages in a highly regulated nuclear environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DOE, nuclear, industrial, or highly regulated facility operations and will be responsible for planning and developing safe, executable work packages that support maintenance, modification, and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review technical work packages, including labor, materials, time estimates, and safety requirements.
- Prepare step-by-step work instructions and procedures for operations, maintenance, and facility modifications.
- Plan work activities related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, or radiological systems within nuclear facilities.
- Identify and resolve work constraints, ensuring packages are ready for safe execution.
- Coordinate with engineers, maintenance teams, safety personnel, and project managers to support work execution.
- Ensure planning documentation complies with LANL and DOE safety and operational standards.
- Support work package closure activities and documentation review.
Required Qualifications

Job Description
The Lean Manufacturing Changeover Specialist will own the identification, analysis, and execution of changeover improvement initiatives. You will leverage lean tools—such as process mapping, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, and structured experimentation—to uncover and eliminate inefficiencies.
When not directly supporting changeovers, you will investigate current cleaning practices, gain deep equipment knowledge, explore improvement opportunities, and design trials to validate enhancements. During active production changeovers, you will be on the floor partnering with operators and team leads to execute experiments, measure success, and implement approved process changes.
Key Accountabilities
Changeover Reduction Ownership
- Identify opportunities to improve current changeover practices.
- Determine longest-lead tasks and develop process standards.
- Partner with team leads to optimize resource allocation.
- Design pre-changeover preparation strategies.
- Coach teams in treating changeovers with the same rigor as production, including scheduling, resource planning, and issue escalation.
- Create best-practice methods for clearing longest-lead items.
- Collaborate with FSQ partners to determine risk rankings and cleaning requirements.
- Build understanding across teams about why each cleaning task is performed.
- Identify and eliminate over-cleaning where appropriate.
- Create or update standard task flows to accelerate changeovers while maintaining safety and effectiveness.

- Review the VPO Log at month end and give recommendations for changes to improve future variances.
- Submit Variance Report to the Purchasing Manager by the 25th of the month for all homes closed in the previous month.
- Process Exception Reports within 3 to 5 hours of receipt from Accounting (submit to Construction by 12PM and to Accounting by 1:30PM).
Hard Costs
- Complete all hard cost updates by the assigned deadline.
- Bid lumber by the assigned deadline.
- Run and review Hard Cost Report (following Hard Cost Process exactly).
- Run and review Option Price Updates (following Option Price Update Process exactly) and turn into Purchasing Manager 3 days prior to option price deadline.
- Enforce vendor increase policies.
Custom Options
- Track custom option requests and status on Custom Option Tracker.
- Estimate custom options (ensure all estimates are completed within 3 days of the request or within 5 days for structural requests that require a drawing).
- Responsible for the accuracy of all custom option estimates for Sales.

- Follow House Release process exactly to ensure correct variance reporting.

Raytheon’s Air & Space Defense Systems SBU Engineering Team is currently hiring a Test Equipment Integrated Product Team Lead, Senior Principal Engineer for its Strategic Strike portfolio. This is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to take a design through verification and hand off to Prove In while partnering with multiple disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. This is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ.
What You will Do
Update, maintain, and improve technical documentation for TE development and production efforts.
Lead and Support TE Design Verification testing/Data collection, prove-in activities and sustainment/maintenance.
Participate in Failure Investigations.
Facilitate knowledge transfer within and across IPTs/CPTs to include Cross-Functional collaboration and coordination.
Facilitate and drive transition to production efforts.
Own the scope and budget of a large group of control accounts.
Ensure technical rigor for all TE scope
Coordinate across teams and potentially contracts as applicable
Share program process knowledge
Mentor earlier in career engineers
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in at least 1 of the following areas:
Mechanical/Electrical development, integration, and qualification
Test Equipment Design and Verification
Fielding Test Equipment to a Government Customer
Test Equipment Maintenance for Production Support
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and/or Risk and Opportunity Management.
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience as a subject matter expert in technical briefs / presentations, proposals, fracas.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. We’re hiring a fixed wing King Air 200 Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our King Airplanes. Scheduled shifts run 7/7 and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services; therefore, all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and company requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
- Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team and follows protocols for recording company change board details.
- Pilots are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required.
- Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- The ideal candidate will have single pilot IFR experience.
- Ability to provide logbooks listing all flight dates and corresponding hours, along with a cumulative total that substantiates the time reported on the resume.
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
- 2,500 Total Flight hours.
- 1,000 PIC hours.
- 500 Cross Country hours.
- 500 Multi-Engine hours.
- 100 Night hours.
- 75 Instrument (50 actual) hours.
Preferred Education:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or higher.
Working Conditions:
- Required to work in outside weather conditions.
- May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight.
