Position Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer 3 Senior Manufacturing Engineer provides a key technical interface to a critical contract manufacturing relationship. The contract manufacturer provides a system consisting of electromechanical capital equipment as well as high-volume sterile disposables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute validation plans, including IQ of process equipment and OQ and or PQ of manufacturing processes.
- Lead manufacturing implementation of sustaining design initiatives.
- Detect, conceptualize, and execute improvement opportunities using a series of Lean and related tools and methodologies.
- Distill complex technical situations into meaningful summaries that are digestible by various stakeholders.
- Lead troubleshooting exercises to quickly get to solutions.
- Create and revise essential documents such as process flowcharts, PFMEA, and Process Control plans.
- Practice LEAN techniques and be able to facilitate lean kaizens.
- Interface with contract manufacturing staff and management to ensure that plans are followed and risks are mitigated.

Qualification & Experience:
- Medical device industry experience

Roles and Responsibilities:
Flight Safety and Operations
- Ensure all flight, crew, and trip activities comply with company and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive flight planning, performance, and weight and balance calculations for each assignment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and the ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications
- Must meet at minimum Tech II up to Tech IV qualifications plus a minimum of 6 months supervisory or training experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays and on-call rotations for roadside assistance
- Must be proficient in SMO, SBT, payroll system, warranty recovery and employee handbook
- Must have a thorough understanding of Unit utilization procedures
- This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test

Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting and training Technicians as needed, providing customer service to the daily customers, and giving feedback to the Service Manager on the performance of employees for appraisal or disciplinary purposes
- In addition, the Technician in Charge may also oversee parts distribution & inventory, shop reporting, warranty recovery, unit tracking, payroll administration and other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

Required Qualifications 10+ years of operational leadership experience within the fire alarm, life safety, or related low-voltage service industry (integrator, manufacturer representation, or large service provider).
Proven success scaling multi-location operations with P&L responsibility.
Demonstrated ability creating and implementing SOPs, operational frameworks, and KPIs for service excellence.
Strong understanding of fire protection standards, inspection/testing requirements, life safety codes, and industry certifications (NICET, NFPA standards).
Excellent communicator with strong leadership presence and ability to influence at all levels.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or related field (MBA a plus).
