As a Sr. Flight Guidance Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the guidance system, and your work will enable the integration of uncrewed aircraft into the National Airspace System.
Responsibilities
Define guidance system capabilities and requirements in collaboration with operations and pilot teams
Design guidance system features to integrate with flight control systems and pilot displays
Implement flight guidance algorithms in simulation and flight software
Reduce and analyze simulation, lab, and flight test data

As a Lead Test Pilot you will have a senior leadership role within the flight operations team at Reliable Robotics. You will provide direction to the team, and be a leading voice to help guide the development of our safety enhancing technology. You will work in a highly collaborative environment and coordinate with multiple engineering teams across the company to develop and execute flight test plans.
Responsibilities
In your role as Lead Test Pilot, your primary role will be to lead a team of highly motivated flight test pilots and engineers. You will also be responsible for developing and safely executing flight test plans in support of research and development efforts, and will fly the aircraft in both onboard and remote configurations. You will coordinate the training and scheduling of contract pilots, and help to ensure that all aspects of experimental flight operations are set up for safety and success. You will coordinate with Reliable's Part 135 airline operations to support standardization of pilot procedures across the organization. Throughout the development process, you will be instrumental in the execution of flight tests, data reviews, and proper operation of the system.
Basic Success Criteria
FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours, including at least 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine
Experience performing a secondary skillset while piloting (e.g. tactical aircraft, firefighting, cropdusting, SAR, ISR, law enforcement, etc.)
Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
2+ years of experience in an aviation leadership role
Preferred Criteria
Graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline or equivalent industry experience
Recent Caravan or PT6A experience
Diversity of experience in multiple aircraft/ airframes
CFII or military flight instructor

As a Displays Software Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the remote piloting software team. This team is responsible for building the pilot-facing application software that is used to command the aircraft's advanced automation systems - both onboard, and remotely. Responsibilities
In your role as a Displays Software Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, architecting, and building a variety of real-time user interface applications for controlling our automated aircraft systems. These can range from browser-based applications to real-time embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware. All of these applications will support our work to build a fully certified system in multiple ways: they will serve as a platform for rapidly prototyping different workflows and designs; they will be directly used in our ongoing experimental test flight programs; and they will ultimately serve as a reference implementation for our certified displays and controls. You will have ownership over the entire lifecycle of these applications and will work with software engineers and designers within the team, as well as systems engineers and pilots to build systems that are safe, user-centered, and certifiable.

As a Senior Flight Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Flight Test and Integration team. The Flight Test and Integration team is responsible for multiple installation and test efforts at Reliable Robotics. The team regularly ensures the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems onboard the aircraft. In addition, this team has ownership over all ground and flight test operations within the organization. The team is composed of individuals with experience developing experimental and certification products.
Responsibilities
In your role as Senior Flight Test Engineer, you will verify the function and capabilities of modified flight control systems, for a remotely operated autoflight system. You will ensure the proper build-up of functions and capabilities, beginning in the lab and ending up on the vehicle. You will be expected to verify the end-to-end functionality of the system and ensure the ability to assess all desired test requirements. This will require engaging with many teams throughout the organization and having a firm understanding of the vehicle's capabilities. As part of the flight test campaigns, you'll act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and often as test director.
Basic Success Criteria
Bachelor's Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline
7+ years of experimental flight test experience
Prior experience drafting test plans, test cards, test hazard analyses, and acting as test director during a flight/mission

The Avionics Hardware team is a small group of highly motivated engineers who develop the core compute, actuation, sensing, and power electronics products at the heart of our automation system. You'll manage a distributed QA team across the US and India, balancing hands-on testing work with coaching and process improvement. This means writing critical test cases yourself, reviewing automation PRs, coordinating testing across time zones, and partnering with engineering to catch issues before they reach customers. You'll own test infrastructure, establish quality metrics that matter, and be the voice of the customer when making tradeoffs between speed and stability.

What You Bring
You have 5-7 years in QA with at least 2 years managing QA teams, ideally at a B2B SaaS company building infrastructure or observability tools. You're deeply experienced with UI testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), integration testing in complex distributed systems, and modern automation frameworks (pytest, Jest, TestNG, or similar). You understand the unique challenges of testing observability tools—metrics pipelines, log aggregation, distributed tracing, and alert systems.
Experience testing AI/ML systems is a strong plus—whether that's model validation, testing non-deterministic outputs, or ensuring AI agent reliability. You've worked with distributed teams across multiple time zones and know how to build processes that work asynchronously. You're comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

As a Senior Simulation Software Engineer, you will be part of the Simulation and Test Systems team. The Simulation and Test Systems team is responsible for building the infrastructure necessary to enable the development, test, and deployment of our autonomous aircraft software. As a Sr. Harness Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Vehicle Design and Integration team and will report to the Vehicle Design and Integration Engineering Manager. This team is a small group of highly motivated engineers designing, integrating, testing, and flying advanced mechanical and electrical systems. The harness engineer is a very cross-functional role at the convergence of the avionics, mechanical, integration, and production teams, with significant hands-on work designing, building, integrating, and testing our harnesses, enclosures, and mounting hardware; expect to broaden your design and application experience. This position can be filled locally or hybrid with frequent travel to our facility in Mountain View, California.
Responsibilities
In your role as Sr. Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harness architecture, including routing, bulkhead planning, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft.
