As a Lead Electrical Engineer, the candidate must have experience with L band RF systems, able to work from customer requirements to derive additional requirements, define the architecture of a possible solution based on requirements, setup a requirements schema & link requirements to documents (systems/subsystem specification, hardware/RF architecture description document, etc.) and flow down applicable requirements to other groups (software, ASIC, & test) so that they can contribute to realize the end solution based on the proposed architecture.
The Lead EE will also oversee the development a qualification test plan that will ensure that the architecture and solution satisfy the customers’ requirements.
The Lead EE will also work with subject matter experts in the areas of GPS signal processing, anti-jam signal processing, other hardware design team members, control software, and government qualification standards.
As a Lead EE, the candidate is expected to understand each aspect of the technology used in the proposed solution.
The Lead EE also must work with the cost account manager, program management, and project management to develop the solution within the program’s budget and schedule.
Essential Functions: Requires comprehensive level knowledge of Electrical Engineering low frequency and high frequency (RF) Analog and Digital circuit design.

Ability to develop circuit designs, requirements, design descriptions, verification plans/procedures, customer CDRLs to meet program schedules.
Ability to support cross functional teams for cross functional conflict resolution, Root Cause Analysis, blank page architecture developments and design Ability to contribute to algorithm development, analysis, implementation, system architecture, verification, and Test with emphasis on military GPS electronics.
Ability to contribute to execution of design, build, integration and test activities, problem resolution and verifying that the deliverable products meet all program and customer requirements.
Ability to provide project management reports as required, support senior level and customer reviews as necessary.
Ability to provide inputs and reviews of the engineering technical baseline as part of proposal efforts.
Ability to interface with the program’s leadership and other teams (SW, Systems, ME, and Test) on a frequent basis, conduct or participate in customer and/or program technical review presentations, and provide progress status updates on work products.
Ability to participate or lead in the product development process including design reviews.
5 to 10% Travel required.
Must have Secret Security Clearance or be able to obtain a US security clearance.

Performs the in-process and final inspection of products used in airframe and missile manufacturing. Analyze engineering blueprints, process specifications, shop travelers and manufacturing planning documents to determine nature and extent of inspection requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines most practical inspection method and technique; plans sequence of operation; selects precision measuring instruments and equipment to dimensionally inspect units. Performs surface table inspections using standard positioning, measuring and layout instruments and equipment. Uses shop mathematics, decimals and fractions in the performance of the work noted herein.
- Conducts first article, receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection assignments; visually and dimensionally inspects a wide variety of airframes parts and aerospace assemblies/components.
- Witness's first piece part production and certifies acceptability; observes and performs in-process inspection during component build-up and sub-assembly stages; performs final assembly inspection and observes testing operations to assure quality, workmanship and strict compliance with Arrowhead, military space and commercial specifications and standards.
- Inspects incoming metallic and fiber materials, plastic and rubber compounds for correct formulation call- out, serialization, identification, cure date and shelf life; verifies vendor and material certifications; checks heat codes, batch and lot numbers to assure product tractability; certifies the proper mixing and blending of bonding agents and adhesives. Inspects reinforced plastic and rubber products for delaminating, blisters, porosity, bond, elasticity, gauge surface smoothness and similar defects or characteristics. Checks configuration and part dimensions with or without the aid of assembly check gauges, fixtures and tooling. Prepares shipping data package for non-metal (soft goods) components/assemblies in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Monitors oven and cure processes and records temperature readings and dwell time; performs or observes pressurization and leak test using plant air, nitrogen and helium.
- Prepare rework tags, inspection reports and documentation. Coordinates rejection with MRB, engineering and customer representatives for depositions and process refinement. Assembles end item documentation for the review and acceptance of finished products. Prepares and maintains history files, records and reports.

Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Product Engineer with background in Manufacturing to oversee the development, manufacturing and lifecycle management of mechanical components for a key client. This role will interface between internal teams, vendors and the client. You will manage product deliveries, scheduling and technical changes as needed.
The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical engineering background, hands-on manufacturing experience and experience managing mechanical products from concept to production.
Duties
- Own and manage assigned mechanical component products throughout their lifecycle, from development through production and delivery
- Coordinate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product requirements are met
- Manage external vendors and suppliers, including sourcing, technical alignment, timelines, and performance
- Develop and maintain project schedules, production timelines, and delivery plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, managing expectations, requirements, and ongoing communication
- Ensure products meet cost, quality, and performance targets
- Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and supply chain risks
- Support design reviews, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Track progress and report status to internal stakeholders and the client
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical product management, manufacturing engineering, or a similar role
- Strong background in mechanical systems, with experience in motors, stators, magnetic bearings, or related electromechanical components preferred
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling and timeline management
- Some proficiency in Solidworks is a plus
- Use of MS Office tools for productivity and Project scheduling is necessary

Responsibilities: Essential Duties:
· Lead Improvement Projects: Identify, plan, and execute high-impact Lean, Six Sigma, and digital transformation projects focused on operational bottlenecks (quality escapes, long prep times, inefficient assembly, etc.).
· Drive Standardization: Document tribal knowledge into robust SOPs and work instructions; pilot and roll out digital work instruction tools and visual management boards.
· Coach & Train: Deliver hands-on Lean/CI training for operators, leads, and supervisors, focusing on practical skills (problem solving, process mapping, visual management, mistake-proofing, etc.).
· Data-Driven Action: Design meaningful KPIs, collect and analyze shopfloor data (scrap, rework, cycle times, downtime, OTD, etc.), and implement root cause analysis and countermeasures.
· Champion Digital Tools: Work with AI, automation, and analytics tools (Power Automate, ERP integrations, Excel, Power BI) to move the factory toward a paperless, digitally enabled environment.
· Facilitate Change: Run kaizen events, lead daily/weekly Gemba walks, facilitate feedback loops, and support the development of a true continuous improvement culture.
· Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional initiatives and standardize processes.
· Tackle Real Problems: Address recurring issues like final inspection escapes, part marking accuracy, FOD/scratches, material flow, and inefficiencies in manual-heavy processes.
· Measure and Report Savings: Continuous improvement impacts in terms of dollars saved, hours reduced, and risk mitigated; report out to leadership and stakeholders.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills:
· 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Lean/Continuous Improvement, manufacturing, or operations engineering role.
· Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Poka-Yoke, Visual Management), Six Sigma (DMAIC, root cause analysis), and process mapping.
· Track record of driving real improvements, measurable cost savings, cycle time reductions, quality improvements.
· Experience creating and implementing Standard Work, SOPs, and operator-level training.
· Familiarity or experience with digital tools for shop floor (Power BI, Excel, Power Automate, digital checklists, etc.).
· Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills; able to work at all levels from shop floor to leadership.
· Highly self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
· Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
· Experience supporting or leading ERP transitions (Epicor, Global Shop, etc.).
· Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
· Background in aerospace, heavy fabrication, or complex assembly environments.
· Experience implementing digital work instruction systems or MES.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS requirements.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 plus a discretionary bonus.
