About the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies was created in fall 2025 to further position Georgia Tech as an international leader in research, education, and community and industry engagement at the intersection of arts, technology, and design. Housed within Georgia Tech's College of Design, the school's pedagogical approach integrates artistic foundations, technical innovation, and creative entrepreneurship. The school leverages Georgia Tech's existing strengths in areas ranging from artificial intelligence and student startups to digital media and music technology, adopts the culture of practice-based studio pedagogy in the College of Design, and builds sustained partnerships with creative studios, technology providers, startup companies, nonprofits, and artists-in-residence taking advantage of Atlanta's thriving creative ecosystem.

The school will begin offering a B.S. in Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies in Fall 2026. Through the degree, the School seeks to develop the next generation of leaders that will guide the transformation of creative practices by emerging technologies, as we also support the workforce needs and continued growth of the creative economy in Georgia.

The launch of this new school is a critical part of Georgia Techs broader strategic plan for growing the arts across the Institute. The School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. Applicants will be considered mainly at the level of Assistant Professor. The School seeks applicants whose interdisciplinary creative practice and/or research connects innovation in emerging technologies with areas such as film, gaming, and immersive media. The candidates primary area(s) of interest may be in creative practice that integrates technology in novel ways, in the creation of new technological tools that support creative practices, or in any combination thereof. Job Responsibilities

• Teach core classes, including studios and/or lectures/seminars, in the B.S. arts, entertainment, and creative technologies degree that are aligned with the candidate's interests and expertise
• Pursue a robust set of scholarly and/or creative activities that establish the faculty member and the school as a nationally recognized leader in the integration of arts, technology, and creative practice
• Contribute to the planning and development of the new school, including strategic planning, curriculum development, and the eventual creation of additional academic offerings
• Participate in service at the school, college, and Institute level, including search committees, student applicant reviews, and governance committees.

Candidates must have a terminal degree in a field related to the intersection of arts, entertainment, and creative technologies.

The Laboratory Technician I (Cage Wash) performs a variety of technical tasks in support of scientific research, managing and operating laboratory equipment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.

Performs routine duties in support of animal research facilities including washing housing components, sanitizing animal rooms, and support areas.

SKILLS
This job requires basic science background and basic knowledge of laboratory test procedures and equipment usage.

• Sanitizes animal caging components, operates industrial washing equipment, sanitizes animal rooms and support areas.

• Maintains accurate records including wash cycle reports, environmental conditions, inventory and daily activity.

• Performs other duties as required.

As a Forklift Tire Technician, you will give input for customer service and operational improvement. Whatyou'lldo

• In-house and onsite installation of forklift and other material handling tires using a hydraulic tire press.

• Dismount, mount tires, and service the customer product as specified by the customer order.

• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure cleanliness of all equipment including service vehicles.

• Report to the Service Managerimmediatelyany material that does not meet quality standards, equipment that requires maintenance, delays at customer sites, potential issues with customer equipment before servicing, accidents or concerns about safety or other potential hazards.

The role will provide direct supervision and daytoday leadership to an administrative support team, including workload distribution, providing guidance and performance feedback, and serving as an escalation point for operational issues. Job Duty 1 - Reviews requests for payment (invoices, check requests, employee payment requests, verifies accuracy and validity, and enters payment requests into the financial system.

• Go with students to physician appointments or hospital/clinic visits as needed.

Provide professional services in support of unit management in field as specified in the particular job posting. Perform data entry and verification of admission application information submitted for prospective students and provide related customer and office services. This position will interact on

Entry and verification of admissions application data
Review of application materials for completeness and accuracy
Processing of high-volume admissions documentation
Responding to inquiries from prospective students and internal stakeholders
Supporting admissions cycle communications and mass processing
Maintaining data integrity within admissions systems
Applying institutional and graduate admissions policies
Assisting with operational workflow coordination and compliance reviews

Job Duty 1 -
Enter and verify information associated with prospective student applications for admission.

Participate in processing associated with mass mailings.

Open, sort and deliver incoming mail.
Job Duty 4 -
Respond to inquiries from prospective students regarding application process.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Department Information
The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of todays technological world. To do so, we provide enhanced facilities and laboratories to create the best learning environment and we attract outstanding faculty and students. In this period of rapid technological change, the Woodruff School produces mechanical engineers who are vital to our future.

With approximately 3,000 students, 100 faculty members, and 80 staff members, the Woodruff School is one of the largest mechanical engineering programs in the country. We are consistently ranked as one of the top 10 mechanical engineering programs in the U.S. at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and continuously innovate to keep our school at the forefront of engineering education. Act as the primary administrative support for a school Chair. Manage and coordinate the Chair's office administrative services and prioritize work assignments. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Chair and Associate Chairs, Dean, School faculty members and staff, students and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: Chair and Associate Chairs. This position will supervise: assigned office staff.
