We are looking for a Field Service Engineer I who is eager to build technical depth, grow within a structured service organization, and gain hands-on experience with complex automation systems. This is an entry-level role designed for someone with foundational technical experience who wants to develop into a subject matter expert over time.
You will initially focus on SYNEO equipment, with immediate cross-training on Glebar systems and exposure to other MMT equipment platforms. The long-term expectation is that you will become a technical expert on SYNEO equipment while broadening your skill set across additional brands.

What You'll Do
Technical Support & Field Service
- Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repairs on designated automation systems.
- Assist with field modifications, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers while actively participating in the resolution process.
- Provide "eyes on" support and equipment health checks across multiple MMT platforms.
Technical Learning & Development
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and basic GD&T.

What you'll be doing:
We are seeking a technically skilled and highly organized Equipment Project Manager to lead the implementation, standardization, and performance oversight of car wash equipment across our expanding network. This role plays a critical part in supporting new site development, managing post-acquisition integration, and providing end-to-end oversight of equipment systems to ensure consistency, reliability, and operational excellence.

Project Oversight – New Developments & Retrofits
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for equipment installation in new builds, site conversions, and expansion projects.

- Develop and maintain documentation on equipment specs, layouts, installation standards and preventive maintenance schedules.

- Manage third-party vendors, OEMs, and service providers to maintain accountability for project deliverables and service SLAs.
- Support the development of training materials and SOPs for site managers and maintenance staff regarding equipment operation and troubleshooting.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Systems, Business, or a related field required.
- 7-10 years of project management experience in equipment-intensive environments (car wash, automotive service, industrial equipment, etc.)
- Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects, including greenfield builds and acquisition integrations.
- Deep technical understanding of car wash systems, including conveyors, arches, chemical delivery, water reclamation, and control systems.
- Proficient in project and task management tools (e.g., MS Project, CMMS, Smartsheet, Procore).

As an Assistant Project Manager at Central Civil you will be part of a team executing construction projects in South Florida airports, seaports, roadways, and private developments. This position may be assigned to the project or head office. The position supports Project Management and Project Supervision teams for the assigned Projects. The position may also support preconstruction activities including estimating, scheduling, planning and buyout. Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning, budgeting, buyout, scheduling, and coordination of work with emphasis on project controls utilizing Procore.
- Perform Document Control (RFI's, Submittals, proposed Change Order, Change Orders, correspondence, Contract documents, plans, plan revisions, Etc.) utilizing Procore.
- Utilizing Procore to manage project data, crew productions, subcontractor performance.
- Manage subcontractor utilization of Procore including pay applications,
- Assist and support other team members in areas or responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
- Assist in material delivery scheduling and coordination.
- Manage hauling data records.
- Manage Procore dashboard for the project(s)
- Produce status reports of project information pulling accurate and current information from Procore.
- Exercise independent judgment optimizing project controls.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with counterparts within client, owner, engineer, and consultant office staff.

Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in related discipline, ie. Civil Engineering/Construction Management.

- OSHA 10 Certification or completing within a month of hiring, provided by Central.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong work ethic, self-starter with professional communication skills is essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Plan Grid and Bluebeam a plus
- Proficient in software applications; word, excel, outlook.
