The Digital Engineering Group promotes a holistic approach to design and construction model-based services and technologies. Responsibilities
- Support the successful delivery of Digital Engineering, Virtual Design & Construction, and Plan + Control for Suffolk’s Mission Critical business.
- Demonstrate an ability to meet project specific deadlines for both the team and the individual
- Laser Scanning & Registration - perform field-based capture of 3D spatial point cloud data using laser scanners for use in existing conditions BIM development and the construction QA/QC
- Surveying - perform field-based project control using Total Stations to maintain accuracies in the laser scanning and photogrammetry processes; perform QA/QC and layout on various construction projects
- Photogrammetry - perform field-based drone photography and 3D photogrammetry data capture. Requires successful passing of the FAA Part 107 UAS Operator Exam

What The Role Entails
We are seeking an authoritative and highly technical Senior Manager to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure across our global hyperscale data center portfolio. Focusing primarily on the Americas (AMERs) and Latin America (LATAM) with global oversight, this role transitions beyond individual engineering to full portfolio and personnel management. The ideal candidate will direct regional engineering staff, govern vendor relationships, enforce strict project execution sequencing, and ensure world-class delivery of our telecom strategy.

Team Leadership
· Directly manage, develop, and allocate resources for regional telecom engineering and development staff.

What You Bring To The Role
· A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

A leading Mid-Atlantic mechanical construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead multiple large-scale commercial HVAC and plumbing projects across the Northern Virginia / Washington DC region.
This organization has been an industry leader for more than 50 years and continues to expand its presence in the region, particularly within mission-critical and data center infrastructure projects. The company operates with extensive self-perform capabilities across mechanical systems and advanced fabrication facilities that support large-scale construction efforts.
This role is designed for a hands-on leader with deep mechanical construction experience who can actively engage in field operations, make critical decisions in real time, and guide project teams through complex multi-million-dollar work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple concurrent commercial HVAC and/or plumbing projects
• Maintain active involvement with field operations while supporting project managers and superintendents
• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards aligned with company practices
• Lead staffing and coordination of key field positions in collaboration with construction leadership
• Manage relationships with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
• Monitor project safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance while implementing corrective actions when needed
• Oversee financial performance including revenue forecasts, schedules of values, and cash flow analysis
• Identify scope changes and prepare pricing for change orders
• Coordinate with internal teams including preconstruction, fabrication, safety, purchasing, and BIM departments
• Represent the company in client meetings, strategy discussions, and negotiations
• Support business development efforts with existing clients and within the regional market
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction (commercial HVAC and/or plumbing)
• Experience managing multiple multi-million-dollar projects simultaneously
• Strong background working for a mechanical subcontractor (not a general contractor)
• Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and make time-sensitive decisions that keep projects moving
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent field experience
• Strong financial and operational understanding of construction project delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
• Proficiency with construction management software platforms and Microsoft Office

• Experience with BIM coordination processes
• Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms

A fast-growing, privately held leader in hyperscale and colocation data center development is seeking a Design Manager to provide senior technical leadership across major mission-critical infrastructure programs.
This high-impact role owns the preconstruction and design phases of technically sophisticated data center projects, driving innovation in MEP systems, efficiency, and delivery for the most demanding cloud, AI, and enterprise workloads. The position requires proven ability to lead third-party design teams, enforce rigorous standards, and deliver complex builds on aggressive timelines while maintaining exceptional quality and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume project leadership at design hand-off and maintain full accountability through detailed design completion and transition to construction.
- Direct coordination with land enablement teams to secure early permitting, easements, environmental compliance, and offsite improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously refine project risk registers from inception through turnover to operations.
- Lead onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of external multidisciplinary design teams.
- Oversee production, review, and approval cycles of all design deliverables, enforcing gating milestones and technical excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to proprietary Design Efficiency Capture (DEC) standards, Cost Control Log (CCL), and Complies/Deviates/Excludes (CDE) matrices.
- Partner closely with Construction Managers to align design progression, escalate issues, and deliver regular executive-level reporting and funding presentations.
- Maintain centralized project metrics and dashboards utilizing Smartsheet for real-time visibility and decision-making.
- Conduct technical reviews of architectural and MEP designs specific to hyperscale data center environments, validating compliance with customer requirements and operational objectives.
- Interface directly with clients during fit-out and integration phases to ensure successful contract delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on innovation, cost optimization, schedule compression, and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive experience successfully leading design phases of commercial construction programs, with significant data center project experience strongly preferred.
- Mechanical or Electrical engineering background highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise managing third-party design teams on large-scale, mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with IPD, Design-Build, or construction management delivery methods.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, and project management platforms (Procore, BIM 360, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of CAD platforms considered a strong advantage.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and change-management capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, develop scopes of work, estimate costs, and forecast schedule/cost impacts from design changes.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
