The Role:

The primary responsibility of the Preconstruction Manager is to intake and steer construction opportunities through the RFP stage of estimating and preconstruction, all the way through a successful buyout and purchasing phase, before turning the project over to Operations. The Preconstruction Manager will coordinate heavily with Corporate Operational leadership and resources, as well as the Estimating team for the purpose of submitting comprehensive proposals during the project pursuit and pre-construction phases. The successful candidate will be able to identify, coordinate, and communicate proposal development between all internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all project pursuit and pre-construction deliverables from commencement of project pursuit with Corporate, Operational leadership and Estimating
• Review project documentation for quality, content, and constructability
• Identify all required deliverables for the project pursuit / pre-construction effort, and make assignments to the appropriate internal/external stakeholder
• Manage the project pursuit / pre-construction effort timeline, setting deadlines as required to ensure an on time and quality deliverable to the client
• Coordinate with corporate marketing to develop proposal documents as required
• Actively manage the client during the project pursuit / pre-construction effort and maintain a strong relationship throughout to help ensure success
• Assure potential risk factors have been evaluated and reviewed with management
• Coordinate constructability resolutions and request pricing of alternative design concepts
• Ensure preliminary construction schedules are developed in accordance with estimates
• Review cost models during the pre-construction and bidding period
• Assist with contract documents
• Consult with Operation leadership, scheduling, estimating, legal, cost control, and procurement activities

Qualifications:

The Director of Preconstruction is a critical team member responsible for overseeing project strategy development, management of risk, fostering business growth, and creating and advancing relationships with clients and partners. • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Assist team with the development and maintenance of the project schedule.
• Ensure that all work is performed consistent with the contract documents and will meet or exceed client expectations.
• Ensure that all subcontractors participate in a pre-construction meeting prior to starting work on the project.
• Ensure that all work is being performed in a quality and workmanlike manor.
• Work with Superintendent(s), General Superintendent and Project Executive to provide labor forecasts
• Prepare material take-offs and order materials
• Attend periodic meetings including owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, etc.
• Ensure that as-built working drawings are maintained as well as the current drawing log and revision log, communicating this to the subcontractors.

Qualifications:  

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines is required, or have 5-10 years of experience in related construction fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project.
• Ability to read blueprints, and perform quantity take-offs.

The FTR Analyst will build and manage models intended to analyze impact of generation projects, load developments and power flows in electric grids in order to predict electricity market prices and identify potential trading opportunities.

Requirements:

• Experience with Optimal Power Flow (OPF) models or nodal market simulation tools (such as PowerWorld, Panorama, Dayzer, PROMOD, UPLAN, GridView, GE MAPS, PLEXOS, Aurora etc.)

Certification Requirement: IAT Level II certification required (or obtainable within 6 months of hire)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Cloud Systems Engineer . This entry-level engineering role focuses on ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based systems supporting mission-critical applications.

The selected candidate will collaborate with senior engineering teams to support cloud platforms, assist with system integration activities, and maintain distributed virtual environments operating within secure enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support stability, sustainability, and performance of enterprise cloud-based infrastructure and software systems
• Assist in system integration, verification, validation, and operational support activities
• Monitor and maintain distributed virtual machine environments across cloud platforms
• Implement proactive engineering mechanisms to maintain system health and availability
• Perform functional analysis, system evaluations, and technical trade studies
• Troubleshoot system performance, configuration, and operational issues
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and runbooks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards and operational requirements
• Participate in continuous learning and technical development initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 1–2 year of experience in cloud systems, IT infrastructure, or systems engineering
• Active DoD Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and virtualization concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented DoD environment
• U.S. Citizenship required

Certification Requirements

• DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• Minimum one cloud certification within 6 months of hire, such as:
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / Azure Administrator
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic experience supporting cloud or infrastructure environments
• Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, or virtualized environments
• Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Familiarity with automation or Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
• Experience supporting Federal or DoD programs
