Key Responsibilities
- Attend weekly Capital Asset Management (CAM) meetings and collaborate with hospital service working groups to support facility planning initiatives.
- Conduct research using internal databases and planning systems to analyze space utilization, patient projections, and facility capacity needs.
- Develop formal reports and analytical summaries assessing the current state of hospital space, infrastructure, and operational support.
- Translate facility and space requirements into multi-year project plans, outlining capital projects and improvements needed over a 10-year planning horizon.
- Review existing Master Facility Plans and identify areas requiring updates based on operational changes or infrastructure assessments.
- Provide timely responses to requests for information (RFIs), calls, and email inquiries related to facility planning and capital projects.

- Participate in Facility Master Planning coordination meetings, providing analysis and recommendations for future capital investments.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions for complex infrastructure and facility planning challenges affecting campus operations.
- Support planning for improvements including building renovations, interior upgrades, utility systems, water distribution, drainage systems, roads, and campus infrastructure.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Architecture, Engineering, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Urban Planning, or related field preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, facility planning, healthcare planning, or related analytical roles.
- 1+ year of project planning or project management experience supporting infrastructure or facility initiatives.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies, including data mining, database management, statistical analysis, and reporting.
- Experience working with data tools such as SQL, R, SAS, or similar analytical platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility operations and Patient-Centered Care culture is highly desirable.

- Responsible for supporting and providing process maintenance and continuous improvement for all safety programs of the Anaheim, CA location, which include hands on assistance, program implementation, training, and organization of monthly meetings and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, OSHA and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of dsm-firmenich's SHE Policies and Procedures. - Must have ability to effectively communicate safety, health, and environmental processes and requirements, including experience with computer-based training systems, Microsoft Word (i.e. procedure documentation and formatting), Excel (i.e. creating workbooks, writing formulas with functions) and PowerPoint (i.e. creating slides for training and presentations).

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $95,000-$150,000.

- Creates 3D harness routes considering bend radius, separation, and maintainability and manage technical trade studies.

With a commitment to sustainability and a strong track record of award‑winning projects. We’re looking to hire a Regional Facilities Manager to join the team in their Long Beach, CA office.
Your new role
As the Regional Facilities Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Asset Management, Property Management, Finance and Procurement teams to oversee technical projects, capital planning, and compliance across the portfolio. You will also provide leadership to third‑party management teams and act as a subject‑matter expert within the property management platform.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing strategic planning and annual budgeting for capital projects and preventative maintenance.
- Managing, tracking, and securing approvals for all assigned projects.
- Analyzing unbudgeted capital needs and recommending solutions.
- Completing monthly ESG reporting, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance.
- Identifying cost‑saving initiatives across existing assets.
- Ensuring full compliance with processes, policies, and documentation standards.
- Managing all vendor contracts related to assigned capital projects.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards across all work environments, including mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical and regulatory hazards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, construction management, project management or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience spanning project management, procurement, and capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E (mechanical & electrical) and building systems.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, contracting, project close‑outs and delegations of authority.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Preferred experience with MRI, Nexus and Ariba.
- Ability to interpret drawings, drafting practices, engineering standards, and create scopes of work.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update the project’s baseline schedule, ensuring alignment with contract milestones, DSA requirements, and field production realities.
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors to track progress, identify delays, and implement recovery strategies.
- Monitor critical path activities and proactively communicate schedule impacts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Create, track, and manage all change events, change orders, and back charges with a high level of accuracy and documentation.
- Lead PCO (Potential Change Order) meetings, ensuring clear communication, timely pricing, and proper documentation for owner review.
- Prepare and issue formal notices to owners regarding time impacts, cost impacts, unforeseen conditions, or contractual obligations.
- Maintain the project’s schedule of values and ensure alignment with contract billing requirements.
- Prepare detailed and professional owner meeting minutes, capturing decisions, action items, and accountability.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and DSA representatives, ensuring timely responses and transparent communication.
- Support DSA compliance efforts by coordinating with inspectors, managing required documentation, and ensuring adherence to approved plans and specifications.
- Organize and lead internal project team meetings, ensuring alignment between project management, field operations, and subcontractor partners.
- Review subcontractor scopes of work, identify gaps or overlaps, and ensure contractual clarity.
- Oversee subcontractor billing, verify progress, and ensure accurate and timely payment applications.
- Identify, track, and manage time and cost impact notices, ensuring timely submission and proper contractual handling.
- Support conflict resolution by applying strong project engineering principles and maintaining a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Maintain rigorous project documentation to protect the company’s contractual and financial interests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field (highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, ideally with public works and/or DSA project experience.
- Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft 365; strong digital organization and documentation skills.
- Solid understanding of project engineering fundamentals, construction means and methods, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and maintain strong relationships with owners, design teams, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional documentation.
