Technical Projects Manager – Plastics Manufacturing

We are seeking a Technical Projects Manager to lead manufacturing process execution, operational improvement initiatives, and division-level projects within our Plastic Colorants operations.

This role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, product quality, and successful project execution across production, quality, maintenance, and technical teams.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is skilled at moving projects from concept through implementation while maintaining safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization & Operational Performance

• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for masterbatch, pigment dispersions, and colored compounds
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs including scrap, downtime, throughput, and production efficiency
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
• Maintain and enforce process documentation, control parameters, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Project Leadership & Execution

• Manage division-level project timelines and track execution progress
• Lead cross-functional project meetings to ensure alignment and accountability
• Coordinate capital improvement initiatives, including equipment installations, upgrades, and plant layout improvements
• Drive projects from concept through completion while ensuring operational readiness

Product & Customer Initiatives

• Support new product introductions from lab development through full-scale production
• Coordinate planning and execution of customer trials
• Collaborate with technical, QC, and production teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Support technical sales initiatives and participate in customer visits when needed

Continuous Improvement

• Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste elimination, and process standardization
• Train production teams on process improvements and best practices
• Partner with maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Participate in internal and customer audits
• Support broader division and company initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of extrusion, compounding, or polymer processing operations preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Position: NIGHT SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY 

The Semiconductor FAB Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a semiconductor fabrication (FAB) facility. This includes managing production teams, ensuring adherence to cleanroom protocols, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards. The role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Production Management 

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet yield, output, and cycle time targets. 
• Optimize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of wafers/products. 
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment uptime, throughput, and defect rates. 

Team Leadership 

• Manage and lead a team of FAB operators and technicians, providing coaching and performance feedback. 
• Conduct shift meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and updates. 
• Ensure proper training and skill development of team members. 

Process & Equipment Oversight 

• Monitor and maintain the stability of FAB processes, escalating issues when needed.

Quality Assurance

Position Overview

Brava Roof Tile is seeking an experienced and highly organized Laboratory Manager to lead the development and operation of our new testing laboratories at our McDonough, Georgia facility. This role is responsible not only for overseeing daily laboratory activities but also for building and scaling the lab capabilities from the ground up to support R&D, production, quality control, and customer testing initiatives.

The Laboratory Manager will play a critical leadership role in establishing both the Physical Properties Testing and Analytical Testing laboratories, including laboratory layout and setup, equipment installation and commissioning, test method development and validation, and implementation of safe and efficient laboratory processes. This position will also lead the recruitment, hiring, and development of laboratory technicians and help build a high-performing technical team to support long-term business growth.

The role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all testing activities supporting R&D, product development, quality assurance, and certification programs. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in plastics and building materials, excellent organizational and project management skills, and a passion for building laboratory excellence and a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

40% Laboratory Build-Out & Operations Management

• Lead the establishment and day-to-day operation of the Physical Properties and Analytical Testing laboratories at the McDonough, GA facility.
• Drive the development of a state-of-the-art laboratory, including layout planning, equipment specification, procurement, installation, qualification, and commissioning.
• Supervise daily laboratory activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Improve laboratory throughput by identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate complex laboratory projects to support R&D, production, and quality objectives.
• Develop optimal scheduling processes to ensure timely sample preparation and testing.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and traceability for all testing activities.
• Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, equipment manuals, and method validation protocols.
• Evaluate and align laboratory test methods with ASTM and industry standards; update procedures as needed.
• Review and approve test results, investigate discrepancies or outliers, and drive root-cause problem solving.
• Provide clear interpretation of data to support material selection, process optimization, and product development decisions.

30% Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of laboratory technicians and technical staff.

What We are Looking For

• Ph.D. with 3+ years, M.S. with 7+ years, or B.S. with 10+ years of laboratory testing experience in polymeric, composite, or building materials environments.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong familiarity with ASTM testing standards, analytical instrumentation, and property evaluation of thermoplastics or building materials.
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, DMA, EDX, rheology, and related characterization methods.
• Experience with weathering and durability testing (e.g., Xenon Arc, accelerated aging).
• Experience with physical and mechanical testing of plastics, including tensile, impact, tear, and dimensional stability testing.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills with the ability to communicate data clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of SOP compliance, data integrity, and quality systems.

The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. • 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas
