DMF is looking for a recent Electrical Engineering graduate with a passion for electronics and circuit design to join our new product development team. In this role you will work on developing industry leading LED lighting and IOT products with exposure to everything from ideation to detailed circuit design, analysis, prototyping and validation. The candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic and growing engineering team with room to innovate, learn and grow rapidly.

This role is onsite in Carson, CA.

The salary range is $75,000 to $100,000 (based on skills/knowledge/experience).

Responsibilities:

• Support the Electrical Engineering team in the design and qualification of compact LED drivers incorporating switch mode power supplies and associated control and communication circuits.
• Execute hardware testing and report results for review.
• Perform detail circuit design, simulation and prototyping under the direction of a senior engineer.
• Troubleshoot field returns, identifying root cause of problem and potential design improvements.
• Work with a cross functional team consisting of Mechanical engineers, Firmware engineers, Industrial Designers, and Project Managers supporting the overall product development effort.
• Follow the company product development process, conduct design reviews and interface with other engineers and departments to ensure an efficient transfer from design to production.

Requirements:

• Passionate about solving problems, using technology, and building product.
• Ideally, 2 or more years of professional experience with exposure to circuit design or testing within the consumer or industrial electronics sector.
• Knowledgeable with the fundamentals of electronics, components, and circuit design
• Hands on experience with electronics through professional experience, personal projects or college assignments.
• Able to communicate in an effective and professional manner (written and oral).
• High level of maturity and organization with a healthy obsession to learn
• Experience with microcontrollers and firmware is a plus.

Responsibilities.

• 
  
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings for mechanical components and cable assemblies to verify compliance with specifications.
  
• Perform receiving inspection and/or product-level inspection to determine material conformance.
  
• Use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, etc.) to verify dimensional and visual requirements.
  
• Perform inspection of electronic assemblies and cable assemblies for workmanship and labeling accuracy.
  
• Identify and document nonconforming material.
  
• Process nonconformance records in QT9, including data entry and supporting documentation.
  
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure proper material status identification.
  
• Communicate inspection findings to QC Manager and internal departments as required.
  
• Assist with sorting, rework verification, and containment activities when needed.
  
• Support organization and maintenance of inspection areas and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates 3D harness routes considering bend radius, separation, and maintainability and manage technical trade studies.
• Generate electrical interconnect diagrams and schematics by defining point-to-point connections for power, signals, and data links; understands grounding and shielding principles.
• Interface and coordinate between various team members including engineering, program management, production and quality Create 3D models of harness designs using SolidWorks software.

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages.
