PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners with hiring managers to develop staffing needs reviewing regular attrition rates, new business plans and potential retirements.

• Develops strategy to acquire talent to assure vacancies are kept to facility specified levels, new and expanding programs are staffed for opening dates, and retirement replacement plans are executed.

• Learns and articulates the business line to market positions to potential candidates.

• Uses an intake process with hiring managers, develops recruitment plan and sets SLA’s.

• Sources and recruits to develop candidates. Develops skills to pre-close candidates during candidate intake.

• Using Behavioral Interview techniques, interviews, resumes, credentials reviews and assessments, determines candidates who are a mission fit, meet the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities to be a good fit for the position.

• Ensure Behavioral Assessments are completed and reflective of the quality hire expected to meet AdventHealth competencies.

• Prepares salary offers and receives approval of the hiring managers.

• Prepares and extends the job offer, sign on bonuses, seasonal agreement, relocation agreements and any other incentives. Manages counter offers as necessary.

• Develops knowledge of benefit plans, incentives and corporate and facility policies and addresses applicant inquiries.

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in applicant tracking system.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Understanding of ATS Applicant Tracking Systems and CRMs

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Proficiency with social networking and internet vehicles and tools such as emails, search engines, social media, blogs job boards

Project Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

We are working with a nationally recognized general contractor to find a Project Engineer for a large commercial project in Orlando. This is a company that takes employee ownership seriously and has built a culture around doing the work the right way.

What You'll Do

• Support the Project Manager in procurement and expediting of construction materials and related functions
• Manage the submittal process, including reviewing, tracking, and distributing submittals to the appropriate team members and subcontractors
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from owners and subcontractors, and prepare RFIs for the architect and engineer of record when technical clarification is needed
• Maintain and organize project documentation including correspondence, meeting minutes, transmittals, and change orders
• Assist in compiling close-out documents such as as-built drawings, warranties, guarantees, and service manuals for delivery to the owner
• Monitor jobsite safety in accordance with the company Safety and Health Manual
• Coordinate with field superintendents and subcontractors to support schedule and quality goals
• When not assigned to a project, assist the Estimating department with detailed cost estimates and value engineering activities

A leading global engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil or Environmental Engineer with solid waste experience to join its growing team in Orlando, FL.

The Role
