Apply expert knowledge of GD&T and statistics to ensure compliance with specifications.

Support inspectors with training, troubleshooting, and inspection tools, including Smartscope, CMM, and databases.

Design and create CAD-based drawings for part-holding fixtures used on Vision Systems and CMMs.

Maintain and update departmental statistical databases and data collection software.

Collaborate with Engineering on new product development to ensure quality requirements are met.

Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Design, and Production teams to develop PFMEAs, Process Flow Charts, and Inspection Control Plans.

Interpret blueprints, specifications, and geometric tolerancing requirements to develop inspection plans and methods.

Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of complex production tooling as needed.

Train and mentor Quality Inspectors in GD&T, statistics, and inspection techniques.

Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements Associate degree (AS) or equivalent required.

3–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance within a tight tolerance industry (automotive or medical preferred).

Proficiency in CAD design and knowledge of computer programming.

Strong skills in blueprint interpretation, geometric tolerancing, and statistical analysis.

Proficiency with general computer applications; Excel expertise is a plus.

Knowledge of automotive/medical quality requirements: FMEA, Process Flows, Control Plans, and system requirements.

Familiarity with ISO 9000, IATF 16949 (Automotive), ISO 13485 (Medical), and other customer-specific standards.

General knowledge of inspection principles related to metals and resins.

Working knowledge of measuring equipment and data collection systems, specifically Vision Systems and CMM.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences.

The Site Engineer position supports field activities and assists Project Managers and Superintendents.

They assist with project planning and tracking; material tracking and pricing; and project cost reporting, typically supporting one medium to large-size project.

Site Engineers learns the fundamentals of Geotechnical Construction and field technical services.

This is a field/project-based leadership position that is focused on site operations.

The ideal candidate will be located on the East Coast of the United States and will spend most of their time on project sites throughout the Eastern region.

Responsibilities Assists in managing the project schedule, supervises Quality Control (QC) and ensures compliance with QC requirements Coordinates Third Party QC services, implements RECON’s three phase QC program and prepares Daily Production Logs Track materials; perform QC on materials ordered and received Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects, prepares monthly project status reports and change orders Budget monitoring and trend tracking Observes and complies with all company specific site safety programs, assists the Site Safety Officer with accident/incident investigations, finds the root cause and suggests improvements Works independently and conducts tasks with limited supervision Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar type degree required Four years of engineering experience or similar trade; Construction field experience preferred Experience with surveying or CAD Experience using a GPS unit to layout and check working grades Experience demonstrating progressive increase in financial/supervisory accountability and authority Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Project Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no direct supervision Must possess multi-tasking skills Additional Information Salary Range: $70,000.00
