Chassis Design/Development Contingent Engineer:

Responsibilities include: simulate, design, and validate chassis components using various simulations tools (dynamometers, rigs and track tests); provide feedback and produce technical reports.

Design Contingent Engineer:

Responsibilities include engine design concept preparation, component and assembly modeling, design evaluation and analysis, drawing preparation and release, part manufacturing coordination and other related administrative duties.

 Electrical Contingent Engineer:

Responsibilities include supporting electronic control systems on the race car; validate the control system design and application; optimization of the calibration for the system algorithms and functions utilizing real time software. Will also be responsible for engine-related electronic control unit, ignition, switches, wiring harness systems, wiring looms and connectors.

Development Contingent Engineer:

Responsible for creating development plans for concepts and component development. Looking at the full product life cycle from concept to production. In addition to executing the test and validations required to achieve project goals.

Test Contingent Engineer:

Responsibilities include engine development and durability testing on the test cell while ensuring that the test cell is ready and capable of  meeting the requested testing goals and deadlines. Will be programming and operating the test cell/plans, develop engine  and instrumentation calibration setting and cell maintenance.  Review testing methods to determine areas for improvement in accuracy, consistency and processing results.

Vehicle Dynamics Contingent Engineer:

Responsibilities include populating and calibrating vehicle model parameters, performing correlation studies: comparing vehicle model behaviors with real-world test data and modelling and characterization of all vehicle systems: e.g. aerodynamics, brakes, multi-body suspensions, tires, powertrains.

A Contingent position that will work with Designers, Vehicle Performance, and Electronics Specialists to test, modify, and evolve hardware systems on race cars and track-focused road cars. Work to prove-out durability and performance to technical targets. Report and communicate on lessons-learned during the development process. Devise innovative tools and methods to test cars, subsystems, and parts. Document problem reports for failures in the field. Analyze data logged on cars, to trace down root causes. Track and manage resolution of vehicle hardware issues. Devise countermeasures. Work with designers and manage 3rd parties to implement design changes. Manage and execute testing of countermeasure parts. Manage and execute test and development of new vehicles, and vehicle hardware updates. Regularly liaise with 3rd party vendors, race teams, and test facilities. Specify instrumentation, perform data analysis, and write reports on the outcomes of development initiatives. Devise new and improved ways to test parts and systems, either in track driving tests, or in workshop rig tests. Work with designers, electronics groups, and suppliers to implement new testing equipment and methods.

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with 3-dimension CAD software modelling of race car components. At least 5 years of professional experience.  Strong analytical skills are required. Knowledge and hands-on experience with racing cars and related electronics and mechanical systems. Previous experience evaluating and implementing design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Previous experience coordinating activities related to project  development, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and test issues. Extensive knowledge of racing car mechanical systems and structural elements Strong knowledge of engineering principles and theories. Knowledge of raw material specifications and codes. Lead and provide design engineering expertise for racecar vehicle design projects supporting HRC’s pinnacle and grassroots motorsports programs. This role is responsible for creating and analyzing design concepts, CAD models, and drawings, interpreting test results, planning and completing assigned engineering projects, and mentoring engineers.

Technical Direction & Mentorship: Develop team capabilities, promote collaboration, manage conflict, provide feedback, and optimize resources.

Design Leadership: Lead design activities for subsystem prototype validation.

Strategic Planning & Team Development: Implement mid- to long-term plans, set priorities, mentor associates, evaluate performance, prepare business plans and budgets, and coordinate cross-functional activities

The Electrical Design Contingent Engineer will support company projects by performing electrical design activities, collaborating cross‑functionally, and ensuring all design solutions meet performance, cost, manufacturing, and timeline targets. This role requires hands‑on involvement in design, prototyping, assembly trials, and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.

Conduct electrical design activities in support of company project requirements. Develop new or improved designs, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings, incorporating modern technologies, industry trends, manufacturability, environmental considerations, cost, and ease of assembly. Recommend optimized design solutions to solve problems or reduce cost while meeting performance and project targets. Perform engineering hand calculations where needed (e.g., beam bending, pressure drop). Understand and apply creepage and clearance methodologies for high‑voltage components. Design wire harnesses; experience with harness layout in assembly design is a plus. Perform tolerance stack‑up calculations to ensure proper assembly under all part variances. Collaborate with other departments to ensure on‑time delivery of practical and optimized electrical design solutions. Participate in assembly trials, manufacturing trials, and vendor visits as needed, including business travel to track/HRC or other locations. Act as a liaison between Project Management and the Design Group Lead, ensuring clear communication of project history, issues, priorities, and targets. Provide critical updates and technical information to the electrical design team and group leads. Ensure BOM and pictorials are accurately maintained and updated according to project milestones. Follow up on problem reports for responsible parts and provide timely updates during weekly review meetings. Ensure designed components meet targets set by technical management, including performance, durability, weight, cost, manufacturing, and assembly. Report design errors clearly and promptly; actively review work in progress to ensure deadlines are met. Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities and perform drawing content checks prior to ECN submission.

Cross‑Functional Engagement: Collaborate proactively with: Project Management; Development & Simulation teams; External suppliers; QA / Assembly Shop, Machine Shop

Provide updates and solutions at mechanical, engineering, and problem‑report meetings. Support other 3D/2D component design activities beyond electrification as needed. Maintain accountability for delivering assigned tasks according to project timelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. 3–5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, ideally in automotive, motorsports, aerospace, or related high‑performance industries. Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (CATIA V5/V6 or 3D Experience preferred). Strong understanding of high‑voltage electrical systems, including creepage and clearance requirements. Experience designing wire harnesses and electrical subsystems. Ability to perform engineering hand calculations and justify design decisions. Solid understanding of GD&T principles (preferred). Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) practices and ability to collaborate closely with manufacturing teams. Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication skills for coordination with project managers, design leads, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams. Location Details: United States - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

• Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
