Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in software development, deployment, and production support.
- Minimum of 3 years leading technical teams in platform development.
- 7+ years of experience in database design, schema development, and SQL performance optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with T-SQL (stored procedures, views, triggers) and automation using scripts and SQL jobs.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Redshift and EMR.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C# or Java preferred).
- Deep understanding of technical and network architecture concepts.
- Proven ability to evaluate multiple solutions, back recommendations with data, and communicate the rationale behind technical decisions.

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Strategic Planning Specialist supports the strategic planning and execution of Honda’s Powersports product initiatives. This role contributes to new model development through market analysis, customer insights, and business condition assessments, supports line up strategies aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements, and leads communication and coordination for product launches to ensure successful sales promotion activities. The position serves as the voice of the customer throughout product concept, design, and testing phases, recommending improvements and identifying new market opportunities. Product Planning
• Support new model development events by generating documentation related to market trends, model positioning, customer profiles and insights, and business conditions including cost, price, volume, and profitability in alignment with executive direction.
Line Up Strategy
• Support the development of product line up strategies aligned with customer priorities, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
Product Launches
• Communicate product descriptions, specifications, customer profiles, features, and pricing details to the Sales Promotion team.
• Lead kick off sales promotion activities and support Sales Promotion teams through product launch execution.
Insights for Product Development
