What you will be doing
  • Create component design definition
  • Create detailed component definition (drawings and/or model-based definition) in accordance with module, system, and customer interface requirements.
  • Create dimensional tolerance stacks, establish Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements, and support manufacturing to produce conforming hardware.
  • Support the supply chain in procuring hardware including review of supplier documentation, assessment of non-conforming hardware, and review of supplier change proposals.
  • Review and approve component requirements for their responsible sub-system's hardware. Develop, approve, and execute validation plans to demonstrate compliance to the requirements.
  • Present and defend design solutions and technical work to program leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Support manufacturing, assembly, service, and aftermarket issues promptly as they arise to keep production on target and the fleet in operation.
  • Perform a leadership role in investigations of in-service and/or development hardware issues including Engine Investigations, failure analysis, root cause / corrective action (RCCA), Technical Variance consultation, reporting, and documentation. Share findings with the global turbomachinery team in accordance with export control regulations.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience in design engineering, Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering OR;

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Product Support to lead our Permits and Enforcement Support team. The Manager will oversee multiple products and applications that deliver a wide range of services to facilitate both back office management of operations and the parker experience for our customers’ customers. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a Managerial/Supervisory position of a medium to large team; min. 8+ direct reports.
  • Proven leadership with the ability to drive a team.
  • Strong technical background with experience in SaaS solutions and software implementation.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and mentor the team to do the same.
  • Experience with parking and transportation industry solutions is a plus.

Job Description

The Project Manager is the key to coordination between the design team, field team, major account agents, and our customers in a power utility environment. The Project Manager will manage projects from the T&D Capital Project Portfolio, focusing on power infrastructure. The Project Manager will oversee budgets ranging from $100K to $20M that span across Transmission, Distribution, and Substation assets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the project’s Engineering Led to set priorities, prepare project schedules, and work in a team-based environment with a focus on delivery and quality
  • Carefully manage customer requirements and schedules with internal team.
  • Acting as a liaison between multiple departments, including engineering, construction, operations, major account agents, stakeholder management and regulatory teams, to facilitate seamless communication and alignment

  • Schedule and attend Project Update meetings with both internal and external project teams

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in construction or project management is a plus

PMP Certification is a plus

Experience Desired:

- 5+ years of previous Project Management experience within Electric utility supporting substations, transmission lines, distribution, or generation

- proficient within Microsoft Excel and SAP software

- Primavera P6 experience preferred
