Powder Coat Specialist Responsibilities
- Load parts onto conveyor line and ensure proper preparation for paint/powder coating (tape, plug, bond, etc.).
- Ensure parts are clean and dry before entering the paint/powder coat spray booth.
- Unload parts from the conveyor line and ensure 100% quality of all parts.
- Ensure that all parts are delivered in a manner that prevents damage or defects and with proper paperwork.
- Follow and adhere to the rework policies when handling defective parts from final customer or internal production.
- Must be able to effectively use area tools and equipment, such as forklifts, drill press, power drills, air tools, hand grinders/orbital tools, pressure washers, etc.
- Deburr, grind and clean sheet metal parts that require touch-up or rework.
- Ability to make necessary adjustments to cleaning solutions of parts wash line.
- Assist in paint color changeovers at the spray booths.
- Perform routine checks following the standard processes in the powder coat area.
- Read and understand blueprints and written specifications (also in metric system).
- Must have ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Support and perform 5S and preventive maintenance activities to maintain area equipment and environment.
- Support Shop Floor Management in the area. Improving all related processes.
Experience/Education
- Previous experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment and/or powder coating area is preferred.
- Knowledge in metal preparation and powder painting strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office products, quality and lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.

Position Summary: The Financial Controller is a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. This role manages the Staff Accountant and Financial Analyst and works closely with the CFO to support strategic financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
Supervise and support the Staff Accountant and Financial Analyst in daily operations and professional development.
Maintain and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings; prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
Build the detailed organizational budget in collaboration with the CFO and Financial Analyst.

Prepare and post general journal entries, as well as post AP, AR, and payroll journals.

Competitive Compensation: Up to ~$145,000 base salary (DOE) 401(k) with Generous Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Leadership Impact: Own and shape the quality function for complex aerospace programs Collaborative Work Environment: Partner closely with engineering, operations, and customers Stability + Growth: Long-standing aerospace manufacturer with modernized systems and continuous investment Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead and develop Quality Engineers supporting internal non-conformances, supplier issues, and customer escapes Manage daily inspection priorities across first-piece, in-process, final, receiving, FAI, and DQR over-inspection Schedule and coordinate third-party source inspections as required Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and contractual quality requirements Ensure compliance throughout contract review, manufacturing travelers, inspection plans, FAIs, PPAPs, and related documentation Develop, implement, and train quality policies, procedures, and standard work aligned with AS9100/ISO9001 Build and maintain standard workflows for CAPA, RCCA, NCMR/DMR, and RMA activity within ERP/eQMS systems (Epicor) Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits; maintain metrics, scorecards, and corrective action tracking Own onboarding, training, cross-training, and performance management for the quality team Act as the technical authority for quality decisions, approvals, and judgment calls Maintain compliance with export controls including ITAR and DFARS Qualifications — Needed B.S.
in Engineering or similar technical discipline Minimum 7–10 years of experience applying quality systems in an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing environment Prior supervisory or indirect team leadership experience strongly preferred Experience supporting Raytheon Technologies (Collins Aerospace / Pratt & Whitney), GE Aviation, or similar aerospace OEMs Strong background in PPAP, APQP, and First Article Inspection (FAI) Familiarity with critical component and flight safety processes (ESA, VSE, SPS) Deep knowledge of inspection methods, metrology, gage selection, calibration, MSA, and SPC Proven experience leading internal and external audits and management reviews Experience building or enhancing ERP and/or eQMS systems to manage CAPA, NCMR, RMA, audits, training records, and scorecards Epicor ERP experience is a plus Interested in hearing more?
