Job Details We are a U.S.-based industrial manufacturing company operating in highly regulated commercial and government-adjacent markets.

The organization supports both industrial and defense-related customers and is seeking a senior-level contracts professional to independently manage commercial and regulated contracts from start to finish.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, partnering with engineering, sales, and finance, and driving contracts forward pragmatically while managing risk.

Key Responsibilities Own the full lifecycle of commercial and regulated contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and ongoing administration Review and support RFPs, RFQs, and customer proposals Negotiate directly with customers and external partners Draft and manage contracts such as customer agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements Identify contractual risk and propose practical mitigation strategies Support compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies Serve as a trusted contracts resource for cross-functional stakeholders Assist with internal processes, documentation, and occasional audits or reviews Ideal Background 7+ years of experience in commercial contracts management (sell-side strongly preferred) Experience operating independently in a lean or fast-moving environment Exposure to government contracting or other regulated industries (depth can vary) Strong business judgment and negotiation instincts Comfortable working cross-functionally with non-legal teams Bachelor’s degree required; JD a plus but not mandatory Additional Notes This is a hybrid role with a strong in-office culture Limited travel may be required Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
