Summary

The Customer Quality Engineer serves as the primary liaison between the company and its customers regarding product quality concerns. This role ensures customer satisfaction by managing quality issues, driving root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and continuously improving processes to meet customer expectations and industry standards

Responsibilities

• The Customer Quality Engineer will develop all protocols for FAT's (Factory Acceptance Test), HAT's (Hardware Acceptance Test) and other Customer required documents along with conducting the above testing with or for the customer.
• Writing technical papers which include Factory Acceptance Test, Hardware Acceptance Test and other quality protocols as required by the customer.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and concerns.
• Lead investigations into customer complaints, non-conformances, and warranty issues.
• Coordinate and execute root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC) and develop effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and submit customer-required documentation such as 8D reports and quality alerts.
• Monitor and report on customer satisfaction metrics, including scorecards and audit results.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues and improve product performance.
• Support customer audits and visits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing Bioprocessing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, Control Plans and Inspection reports).
• Experience with customer-facing roles and managing quality issues.
• Proficiency in using quality management systems (QMS) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma, or Lean are a plus

Job Title: Automotive Training and Development Consultant

Duration: 06 Months

Location: Dallas, Tx

This position is responsible for analysis, research, development and delivery of manufacturing processes and technical launch training with on-site support to OEM vehicle assembly plants in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Provide on-site training and support at each of the OEM vehicle assembly plants

• Instruct and consult plant process and repair personnel to improve their understanding of the vehicle and its highly intricate and interconnected systems and subsystems

• Present and demonstrate efficient and effective methods of diagnosing and correcting vehicle assembly, vehicle electrical systems and sub-system deficiencies

• Conduct root cause analysis to accurately identify the cause(s) of assembly and vehicle deficiencies

• Act as the training liaison between product/manufacturing engineering and general assembly by creating, designing and developing training materials related to vehicle assembly process, electrical harness manufacture, vehicle electrical system architectures and schematics

• Communicate and share lessons learned, developed training materials and information gathered in support of one plant project with remaining plants on a timely basis

• Analyze and identify future training needs for each of the OEM vehicle assembly plants

• Support and participate in plant launch meetings and provide training reports to Raytheon management, the OEM management and OEM launch teams

Required Skills:

• Minimum four years of experience as an automotive instructional designer, training developer, automotive instructor and/or manufacturing instructor

• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive systems from an advanced diagnostics perspective

• Demonstrated knowledge of OEM manufacturing tracking and reporting systems

• Demonstrated knowledge of OEM manufacturing dynamic vehicle testing systems

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in both classroom and plant settings. Working in plant areas may involve exposure to various automotive fumes, fluids, noise, smells, sharp edges and bump hazards that require continuous use of personal protective equipment, i.e., safety glasses, gloves, and head protection

• Classroom work may involve standing, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use

• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects

• Duties may involve moving materials weighing up to 35 pounds on a regular basis such as automotive components and equipment, as well as papers, files, boxes, computers, etc. Less frequent requirements for moving materials weighing over 35 pounds do exist with the assistance of lifting and moving equipment, i.e., hoists and lift tables

• Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 70% of the work period while working in the plant areas as well as operating equipment such as computer keyboard, monitor, projector, calculator, printer, and standard office equipment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform GPS-based field surveys to capture existing site and utility information
• Collect, verify, and document field data for use in design and construction activities
• Prepare and update drawings using AutoCAD based on field observations and survey results
• Conduct constructability reviews of preliminary layouts and design exhibits
• Document existing site conditions through notes, sketches, and photographs
• Perform electronic utility locates and assist with measuring utility depths as required

Summary

Rotating Equipment Engineer role supporting modular turbine packages and power generation rotating machinery through commissioning, reliability, and lifecycle optimization.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for rotating equipment including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and auxiliary systems
• Support modular turbine packages including installation, commissioning, integration, and performance optimization
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations for rotating equipment issues
• Develop and review maintenance strategies, inspection plans, and reliability improvement initiatives
• Support outage planning and execution including scope development, technical oversight, and post-outage evaluations

• Evaluates and improves upon existing manufacturing processes. Assists supervisors and production team members in resolving manufacturing process problems.
  
• Produce and maintain support documentation to control processes and costs while maintaining quality. Includes: Manufacturing processes, time studies, CNC programming, tooling, tool design, machinery or related equipment as needed.
  
• Plans and implements process engineering activities for new product development and current product support. Facilitates smooth transition of projects from Engineering to Manufacturing, including analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, equipment layout, work instructions and preventative maintenance procedures.
  
• Justify new or replacement tooling, machines and equipment. Prepare capital authorization requests and manage installation and start-up.
  
• Act as the first point of contact for shop floor manufacturing issues.
  
• Act as training person for specialized processes and machine operators.
  
• Assist and support in environmental, health and safety programs and requirements.
  
• Assist and support plant and facility maintenance.
  
• Provide Make vs. Buy analysis and standard cost estimates.
  
• Create and maintain routings.
  
• Create and maintain shop floor work instructions.
  
• Create rework orders for the shop floor.
  
• Proficient at utilizing the latest SolidWorks 3D solid modeling software for fixture and tooling design.
  
• Proficient at utilizing the latest Mastercam CAM software for CNC program creation and verification.
  
• Proficient at reading and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  
• 5 years' experience in specifying manufacturing processes, machining equipment and tooling, and CNC programming experience.

• Must be able to communicate and work effectively with vendors and team members at all levels.
  
• Hands-on machining experience is a plus.

• Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.
  
• Position requires movement around the facilities.
  
• Factory floor support is imperative.
  
• Occasional handling of material and components.
  
• The physical requirements of the job are related to some testing in the engineering lab, field service activities that can be part of the job assignments or handling component parts in the plant during a quality inspection.
