Role Summary 

We are seeking a hands-on Research Associate / Senior Research Associate to support the synthesis, deprotection, purification, and analysis of chemically modified oligonucleotides that enable OliX’s RNAi pipeline. You will operate and maintain key instrumentation (e.g., HPLC/UHPLC, preparative LC, TFF, UV–Vis), document work in SOPs, batch records, and reports, and collaborate closely with RNAi chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and biology teams to advance discovery and preclinical programs. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Execute (or Help) solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis (SPS) and downstream processing (cleavage, deprotection, desalting). 
  • Purify and polish oligonucleotides using OPC, analytical and preparative HPLC/UHPLC, and UPLC; perform buffer exchange and concentration via TFF. 
  • Develop and optimize purification methods and in-process controls to improve yield, purity, and throughput. 
  • Perform analytical characterization (UHPLC/LC–MS, UV–Vis); compile CoAs, batch records, and data summaries. 
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments; coordinate vendor service when needed. 
  • Author and revise SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports; ensure data integrity and traceability. 
  • Work cross-functionally with medicinal chemistry and biology teams to align materials specifications and timelines. 
  • Maintain safe, compliant laboratory operations and good housekeeping (5S); participate in EHS initiatives. 
  • (Sr. RA) Mentor junior team members; lead small method-development or process-improvement projects. 

Qualifications 

Required (RA): 

  • B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 0–3+ years of relevant lab experience (industry or academic core facility). 
  • Hands-on experience with oligonucleotide purification (e.g., OPC, HPLC/UHPLC, preparative HPLC in anion exchange and reverse phase chromatography) and basic analytical techniques (UV–Vis, KF, etc). 
  • Familiarity with solid-phase synthesis of workflows and routine instrument maintenance. 
  • Strong record-keeping and communication; proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team. 

Required (Sr. RA): 

  • B.S./M.S. in a related field with 3–6+ years of relevant industry experience in oligonucleotide synthesis/purification. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in method development/optimization for oligo purification and in-process analytics. 
  • Experience drafting SOPs/batch records and mentoring junior staff. 

Preferred (both levels): 

  • Experience with LC–MS data acquisition/interpretation for oligonucleotides. 
  • Exposure to nucleoside/nucleotide building blocks or bioconjugation workflows supporting RNAi platforms. 
  • Familiarity with TFF operations and scale-up considerations.

Job Summary



Under the direction of the Lead Automotive Account Manager - West Coast, the SOCAL Automotive Sales Engineer is responsible for maintaining current customer relationships and identifying areas for potential growth with established and new customers in the electric vehicle market. The primary role will be serving as the key account manager for a major electric vehicle company with responsibility for several smaller accounts. The role is responsible for being the main point of contact for communication regarding product selections and opportunity generation. This position is based primarily in the SOCAL area, with travel to the West Coast region as required. This individual will work with a cross-functional team, including sales, project management, product management, and engineering, to achieve success. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.



Essential Functions:





  • Serve as the key account manager for SOCAL automotive vehicle customers.

  • Coordinate and align domestically and globally for relevant opportunities as required.

  • Expand HellermannTyton's position in low-voltage, high-voltage vehicle electrification systems as well as fluid routing opportunities.

  • Uncover opportunities in standard, platform-based, and custom products

  • Attend and lead selected customer-facing meetings to drive opportunities to specify HellermannTyton's products.

  • Support overall business direction as set by automotive sales and marketing leadership with vetted information and strategic clarity to ensure key activities are moving forward.

  • Work with customer engineering teams to assess standard plastic fasteners/clips for wiring harnesses and fluid routings, offer substitutions, and deliver new, improved offerings.

  • Use understanding of technical drawings, documents, and automotive testing requirements to convert information into recommendations and next steps to achieve the specification.

  • Understand and have full knowledge of OEM specifications for standard parts and leverage that to gain market share.

  • Follow and improve process flows to enable efficient multi-stakeholder direction and understanding of key actions and commitments.

  • Manage customers current and upcoming platforms and develop sales plans in line with customers goals

  • Maintain familiarity with competitors' products and identify opportunities

  • Effectively communicate status, actions, milestones, and activities to key stakeholders.

  • Ability to discern opportunities and roadblocks to the goals of a project and drive results for increased sales.



Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)





  • BS from an accredited four-year college or university, engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • 5+ years of professional experience demonstrating mechanical and engineering aptitude, along with successful key customer responsibility

  • Automotive Industry Experience required

  • Knowledge of plastic fasteners is preferred

  • Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and adequate insurance

  • Minimal travel involved

Position Overview

The Lead AI Safety and Enablement Engineer ensures the safe, reliable and scalable use of AI and machine learning across Exact Sciences. This role focuses on developing and implementing systems, tools, and frameworks that embed responsible AI principles into the organization’s technology ecosystem. The position combines software engineering expertise with a strong understanding of AI risk management, compliance, and observability.

This role is based in one of our office location. Relocation assistance provided to those not local to the area and willing to relocate.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Support implementation of enterprise standards for AI safety, transparency, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain shared AI safety tools such as model catalogs, metadata registries, and monitoring systems for bias, drift, and performance.
- Build APIs, templates, and SDKs that integrate governance and validation into AI/ML development pipelines.
- Contribute to the design of observability and telemetry solutions for continuous monitoring of model and data quality.
- Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and InfoSec teams to translate AI policies into automated controls and technical safeguards.
- Work with ML and GenAI teams to embed validation and safety checkpoints in AI workflows.
- Participate in cross-functional reviews and discussions supporting AI governance and responsible AI practices.
- Promote awareness and adoption of responsible AI principles through tools, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in software, ML systems, or platform engineering.
- Practical experience with AI lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, Arize, WhyLabs, Label Studio).
- Proficiency in Python, CI/CD processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience developing scalable and compliant ML systems and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or AI.
- Experience implementing AI assurance, observability, or risk management frameworks.

$184,000.00- $276,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
