The Test Scoring/Reader position involves hand-scoring tests that contain constructed responses, such as essays, math problems requiring shown work, or written answers. These responses must be scored by a live person because they cannot be evaluated mechanically.

Scoring is based on criteria established by each State Department of Education. You will be trained in these standards and scoring methods. Test Scorers/Readers work in a classroom-style environment led by a Scoring Director who conducts training and overseas operations.
