LHH has a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a Senior Databricks AI/ML Engineer to join our client's engineering team. This role focuses on building and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions across key areas of the insurance functions, including underwriting, claims, pricing, customer engagement, and fraud detection, with a strong emphasis on Databricks architecture and ecosystem integration. The engineer will collaborate closely with data scientists, actuaries, product owners, and engineers to operationalize models, transforming them into robust, production-grade systems seamlessly integrated into business workflows and enterprise platforms.

Salary & Benefits:

• $150k to $185k annually (depending on location & experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science/Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years experience in ETL pipelines, SQL Server, and production data workflows.
• 3+ years enterprise experience with Azure & Databricks AI/ML, including data analysis and visual analytics.
• 3+ years applying ML algorithms and transforming data science prototypes into production.
• 5+ years experience with CI/CD workflows for ML models and related code.
• Strong SQL, real-time and batch data pipeline development, and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

Responsibilities:

How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a Principal Thermal Rack Engineer within the Intelligent Infrastructure Segment to drive advanced cooling solutions for high-performance computing systems. This role involves incorporating thermal components such as direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and manifolds into network and server racks (EIA 19” and ORv3). You will leverage CFD tools to perform rack and system-level thermal and fluid analysis, ensuring optimal flow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature performance. - Lead the end-to-end integration and testing of rack thermal solutions, including liquid cooling systems in varying form factors and product lines.
- Use CFD tools (FloTherm or Macroflow) to perform switch, rack, and system-level thermal/fluid analysis (flow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature profiling).
- Design and optimize thermal components using 3D CAD (Creo or SolidWorks) to support seamless hardware integration and testing.

We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in metal structures, frame design, pipes and fabrication to support the development of power and cooling infrastructure for data centers. This role is critical in designing robust mechanical systems that house and support electrical and thermal management equipment, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

What will you do?

- Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.

- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for chilled water and glycol-based systems.

- Understanding of installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in large-scale mechanical infrastructure.
