The Systems Engineering, Integrated Systems Department is seeking a Systems Engineering Technical Lead for the NASAMS product line. This role requires strong technical expertise and engineering leadership skills to drive the design and development of world-class air and missile defense systems.

The Integrated Systems Department supports Raytheon by providing world-class weapon systems engineering. Domain expertise includes radar systems, effector systems, battle management, command and control, network design, battlespace integration, and interoperability for both domestic and international customers.

You will work alongside motivated engineers who are responsible for conducting systems engineering studies and trades; supporting system requirements definition and analysis; and contributing to algorithm development, integration, test, and evaluation.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical oversight and management for a variety of Systems Engineering efforts

• Concept and requirements development (including decomposition and flowdown) within a mature product-line

• Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design

• Algorithm optimization and development

• Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System

• Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter

• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system

• Support and lead Internal and External Program and Design Reviews

• Collaborate with other IPT/CPT leads from the various functions and products

• Support and lead Internal Research and Development for future capability upgrades

• System integration and test support, including live fire test events

• Periods of travel up to 25% of time both domestically and internationally

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience with Air Defense Systems in systems engineering roles supporting development or production

• Experience with managing budget, scope and/or earned value

Job Description:

The Thermal Analyst will be a technical leader across multidisciplinary teams of engineers to create the best overall system design including thermal design, analysis, and test of optical systems operating in harsh space and ground environments. The candidate will possess in-depth understanding of aerospace thermal engineering technology and payload architectures for spacecraft sub-systems and instruments. • System level thermal design & development, payload level integration and test, and risk mitigation for space-based environments
• Perform thermal design and analysis tasks on complex mechanical hardware including precision mechanisms, electro-mechanical devices, aerospace mechanism design, complex electronics packaging, supporting space-based deployable mechanisms, avionics, innovative thermal and ground based systems

The Principal Product Engineer will learn the technical aspect of key product in the Andover, MA factory.  The Product Engineer will be product centric technical liaison, focused on driving collaboration across work centers and all disciplines to resolve technical issues, improve efficiencies and optimize overall product yield to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products and systems. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

• The base salary range for this role in Atlanta is $121,000.00 - $147,700.00 

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

 Advanced degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or a related

scientific discipline preferred

 5+ years of experience in life sciences sales

 Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value strategic accounts

 Strong understanding of drug development workflows

 Ability to operate e􀆯ectively in a performance-driven, growth-oriented environment

 Strong organizational skills with a track record of operational discipline and

execution

 Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally nationally

Preferred

 Experience selling analytical instrumentation or pharmaceutical enabling

technologies

With only five minutes of wear-time on the skin, the Vaxess’ patch combines room temperature stability with simplified application to dramatically alter the way that drugs are delivered. The Role:

The Quality System Specialist / Senior Quality System Specialist plays a key role in supporting and enhancing Vaxess Technologies’ Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with applicable GMP/GLP standards. This position focuses on maintaining robust electronic quality systems, managing controlled documentation, and supporting the integration of new processes and applications.

Responsibilities:

Quality System and Computerized System Oversight

• Support quality oversight for computerized systems, including QMS implementation, configuration, validation, and data migration activities.
• Assist in launching new or enhanced system functionalities and communicating updates or user guidance to ensure effective adoption.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and system vendors to ensure integrated processes across modules (Document Control, Training, Equipment, and Material Management).
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues as needed.

Documentation and Record Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of controlled documents, including creation, revision, review, approval, distribution, and archival within the electronic document management system (EDMS).
• Ensure that controlled documents, such as SOPs, batch records, and specifications, are accurate, current, and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Coordinate document workflows with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and alignment with procedural requirements.
• Author or revise SOPs, forms, and work instructions supporting quality system and GMP operations.

Training and Compliance Support

• Provide training and day-to-day support to employees on document control and system processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for document control and computerized systems during internal and external audits and inspections.
• Support tracking and reporting of quality metrics (e.g., training completion, document cycle time, CAPA effectiveness) to drive continual improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• 2–5 years of experience in a GMP, GLP, or GxP-regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry).
• Experience with electronic quality management systems (e.g., Enzyme, Greenlight Guru, Veeva, MasterControl, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (21 CFR Parts 210/211/11/820; ISO 9001/13485).
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Support MAP manufacturing and process development for the Platform Research team.
• Work cross-functionally with formulation/analytical and preclinical teams to identify novel candidates for  development on the MAP platform, build platform flexibility and utility.  
• Develop and document batch records and test methods to characterize and support MAP formulation and  process development; identify opportunities for process improvement.  
• Thoroughly document MAP manufacturing process parameters, analyze data and trends, and effectively  communicate results through technical presentations and written reports.  
• Support early collaborations with strategic partners by generating proof-of-concept data packages.
• Interface with manufacturing and automation teams to share learnings and support platform improvement.
• Assist with the design and testing of new fixtures, tooling, and equipment to improve process throughput and  consistency.  

Qualifications 

• BS or MS in Biomedical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 0-2+ years of R&D  biotech or medical device experience.  
• Prior industry experience with novel platform and process development is preferred.  
• Familiarity with imaging and physical characterization techniques is a plus.  
• Experience with programming and prototyping/3D printing is a plus.  
• Experience with GxP is a plus.  
• Strong attention to detail. Ability to identify root causes of problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
