The Hardware Engineering Directorate is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer with digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our team.
We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
What You Will Do
The Effector Guidance Electronics Department designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units which are supported from proposal through transition to production. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.
The Senior Principal Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
This position is 100% ONSITE in Huntsville, Alabama.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering.
Minimum of ten (10) years engineering digital circuit design experience
Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs, and/or multi-assembly system/unit design

The Effector Digital Products Department is seeking an electrical engineering leader with experience in engineering management, design, test, and integration. The candidate will work with section members to provide career guidance, performance feedback, and technical leadership to enable the employee for success. Responsibilities will be split between supporting program(s) as an engineer (~90%) and providing functional leadership to the section (~10%).

An Electronics Lab Assembly/Solder Technician is responsible for assembling, cabling, and validating complex testing rack test systems. This includes building and repairing cables and connector assemblies as a critical part of the role. Are you a proven technical leader in industrial steam and power generation systems? Our team is seeking a Boiler & Turbine Systems Subject Matter Specialist to serve as our top authority on boiler, HRSG, turbine, condenser, and steam‑system design and performance. This is a high‑impact role supporting major industrial and pulp & paper utility operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope: The Boiler & Turbine Systems Subject Matter Specialist serves as the organization’s top technical authority for industrial steam and power‑generation systems, providing expert guidance on boiler, HRSG, turbine, condenser, and steam‑system design and sizing. This role leads thermal cycle modeling, equipment specification, and system integration for both new installations and major upgrades across industrial and pulp‑and‑paper utility operations. With extensive experience in boiler and turbine projects—and preferably OEM exposure—the specialist ensures robust, efficient, and reliable power‑and‑steam solutions across the facility.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Extensive boiler and turbine projects experience across FEL/FEED through detail design and start‑up support (cogeneration/CHP, new installs, retrofits, and debottlenecking).
- Proven ability to perform and stamp/lead core calculations and deliverables: heat & mass balances, Rankine/Brayton/combined‑cycle analysis, steam/water balances, duty/flow/pressure sizing for boilers, HRSGs (single/multi‑pressure, with/without duct firing), steam turbines (backpressure & condensing), gas turbines integration, and condenser selection/sizing (duty, approach, vacuum, CW options, air‑cooled vs. water‑cooled).
- Steam system design & controls: header configuration and pressure‑level strategy, letdown/PRV stations, desuperheating/attemperation, bypass/relief and PSV sizing, condensate return, DA/feedwater systems, and overall mill steam stability and turndown.
- Creation/review of PFDs/P&IDs, equipment datasheets/specs, control narratives, and commissioning plans; vendor bid technical evaluations and lifecycle cost comparisons.
Ideal Background
Education: B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Power Engineering; P.E. is preferred but not required.
Experience: 20+ years in industrial boiler/HRSG/turbine project engineering for mill utilities, power islands, or CHP.

Primary Responsibilities:
The EH&S Engineer will assist leadership to assess and resolve safety issues by identifying risks, and by implementing controls, policies, and programs.
