Position Overview
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and multifamily electrical projects. This role focuses exclusively on preconstruction and bidding activities and does not carry project management responsibilities after award.
The ideal candidate understands real-world installation practices, labor productivity, material procurement, and risk evaluation — and can translate that knowledge into accurate, margin-focused estimates.
Key Responsibilities
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs

The Stowers Institute has an opening for a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and keep mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operational at all times. This position is four 10 hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responding to service calls for issues regarding temperature, lighting, etc.
- General mechanical repairs such as greasing motors
- Replacing air handler filters, belts, and pumps
- Electrical repairs which could include replacing lamps and ballasts, defective switches and outlets

Prepare and issue reports based on information analysis.
Review existing investigation reports and identify gaps for GMP compliance.
