Cat Scan Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT Technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Here is some of what to expect as a CT Tech with us:
Your role is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
You will communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
Your role uses computed tomography equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles.
You will prepare patients for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Your role positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
- ARRT(RT)(CT)REQUIREDand CE compliance & Current BLS certificationrequired.

Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology in which minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. These doctors specialize in using nonsurgical techniques for targeted treatments. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you can expect to do the following:
You will be responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Special/Interventional Procedures and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
Your role maintains strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referring physicians.
You will consistently demonstrate critical thinking skills in day to day job prioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.
You must be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, as well as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.
What qualifications you will need:
Current ARRT (RT) (R). (VI) or (CV) certification strongly preferred. Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC. Advanced ARRT Credentials preferred.

Job Summary and QualificationsThe Surgical Technician demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to function in the scrub role during surgical procedures performed in the department. The Surgical Technician is experienced in all aspects as a septic technique, setting up the required equipment and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases; pulling cases as needed; and breaking down cases at the end of the procedure. He/she is knowledgeable regarding instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs for all types of surgical procedures. The Surgical Technician may rotate to other areas other than surgery, and will perform those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Surgical Technician performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan for Sky Ridge Medical Center (SRMC). The Surgical Technician follows and supports SRMC policy and procedures. The Surgical Technician displays positive support for the values and mission of SRMC. Job Summary and Qualifications*Position will be Tuesday - Friday, 7:00a - 5:30p. Occasional call obligations for 3rd shift backup call, as well as working one holiday per year.
As a technologist, you are asked to operate MRI scanners and to ensure that the procedure produces quality images and information for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis. Utilize your medical knowledge by interviewing patients, explaining the procedure and placing the patient in the appropriate spot on the table. Technologists are also organized, detail-oriented people who are familiar with the anatomical area that is being scanned and the patient’s history. A few responsibilities of our MRI Technologist include:
You will position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
You will be performing procedures and assessing patients throughout and responding to the patient’s needs as appropriate
You will complete appropriate documentation for each study performed
You will use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
You will participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations
You will maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures
What qualifications you will need:
- Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
- Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists
