JOB SUMMARY
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Provides field operations control, coordination, and assistance to current and future customer base.

- End-to-End Test Execution: Perform hands-on validation of the entire system, systematically verifying each architectural block to isolate faults and ensure proper integration.
- Systematic Validation:
- Physical Layer (Layer 0/1): Validate that all hardware components (servers, switches, storage arrays) power on correctly, pass their Power-On Self Tests (POST), and establish stable physical data links.
- Network Fabric (Layer 2/3): Verify that the network infrastructure functions as designed, including proper switch uplinks, VLAN segmentation, firewall policy enforcement, and the correct operation of network services like DHCP.
- Storage Subsystems: Test and validate the functionality of bulk storage arrays (e.g., Dell PowerStore, NetApp appliances) from both a back-end management and front-end data presentation (NFS/iSCSI) perspective.
- Operating Systems: Validate the correct installation, configuration, and security hardening of server operating systems, including Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9).
- Virtualization & Compute: Confirm that stateful hypervisor systems are performing correctly. Validate the deployment and functionality of VMware vSphere environments. Test the ability of stateless, diskless compute systems to successfully pull OS images from network storage as advertised.
- Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously record all test outcomes, documenting deltas from expected results, and gathering all necessary log files and screenshots to serve as test artifacts.

Qualifications

Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $55/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. A globally recognized Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their downtown Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of large scale projects while working within a fully integrated AEC delivery model alongside architecture, engineering, and construction teams.
The Opportunity
- The Assistant Project Manager will support senior project leadership in the planning and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role will assist with coordination across project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- You will gain exposure to complex projects across multiple sectors while developing your leadership and project management capabilities within a collaborative AEC environment.
Key Responsibilities

The Training Coordinator, Customer Education will be responsible for supporting Customer Education initiatives such as supporting program members, training/alliance partners, and other applicable customers in the In-Building, Data Center, and Carrier Markets.
This person will take direction from the Manager, Customer Education to develop the annual education plan for USCAN.

Collaborate with Distribution Branch Managers and Sales Engineers nationwide to coordinate logistics for live education classes.
Build promotional campaigns through marketing tools such as social media, marketing automation software and traditional inbound and outbound campaigns to support promotion of customer education events.
Maintain certifications and customer/program education records and report on results from Customer Education program.
Work with event planning software (Cvent) to set up accurate event registration/promotion, registration and after event reporting.
Establish and build relationships with external suppliers as needed.
Operate within a specified customer education budget.
Be available to provide basic customer support for program members.
Help maintain and develop program databases and processes to continually improve the training program.
