Key Responsibilities

Project Management (≈60%)

• Lead 2–3 projects in TEPRI’s solar, storage, distributed power, energy efficiency, demand response, or rural energy portfolios.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree + 3+ years professional experience, or Bachelor’s + 5+ years.
• Experience in project management, research, and program development in energy, public sector, or nonprofit settings.
• Skilled in adapting communication for diverse stakeholders.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong project management: planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Knowledge of energy solutions and programs, particularly relevant to low-to- moderate income stakeholders.

THE ROLE:

The Project Manager will be the overall project leader on assigned projects. You will plan and oversee all phases of energy projects with the objective of successful on-time completions within budgets while ensuring that customer satisfaction stays at the highest levels. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations to help local cities, schools, municipalities, and other customers become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end users. The expectation is that you will simultaneously run one or several projects from early development through construction.

You will work with the sales team participating in customer presentations, and you will work with our engineering development team, subcontractors, and consultants to develop cost effective solutions. The role will then transition to a more traditional role managing projects across our portfolio of customers and energy conservations solutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, possess excellent communications skills, and be detail oriented. You must have a genuine passion for building innovative energy reduction solutions and must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide constructability review of scopes during project development.

Oversee project deliverables and contractual obligations.

Oversee project team including subcontractors and consultants.

Create, maintain, and manage project schedules, labor plans, and project documents.

Oversee AHJ, DSA, and utility and special inspections to ensure projects receive all necessary permit sign-offs.

Visit active sites to witness and partake in key milestones and ensure progress and quality.

Work with internal and external Procurement resources to contract the project scope across various suppliers.

Develop and maintain multi-month budget/forecasting revenue and payment forecasts.

Manage payment terms and balances with customers and sub-contractors.

Create Schedule of Values (SOV) on all assigned projects in order to maintain positive cash flow.

Manage project commissioning and closeout phase including all requirements needed to successfully complete projects.

Overall financially responsible to meet established budget, including change orders.

Provide consistent and clear communication with internal and external customers.

Ensure quality, timeliness and completeness of work performed.

Adhere to Syserco Energy Solutions’ Policies and Procedures, HR, Safety Plan and others.

Customer satisfaction results shall meet or exceed annual performance goal.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Energy Engineer II based between our Melville, New York and Lawrenceville, New Jersey offices with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

The Energy Engineer plays a key role in developing innovative energy conservation measures and demand‑side management strategies for buildings and facilities. Working closely with facility managers, this role conducts detailed energy assessments, performs on‑site investigations, and evaluates the performance of building systems.

The Energy Engineer prepares energy‑savings calculations, drafts clear and technically sound reports, and interprets engineering documents to support project planning and execution. They also monitor and support construction activities related to energy systems and equipment to ensure alignment with project specifications and industry standards.

In addition, the Energy Engineer provides technical expertise throughout project design and implementation to optimize system performance and achieve measurable energy and cost savings. The role also supports the Business Development team by evaluating potential opportunities and contributing technical insights during early‑stage project development

Responsibilities

• Performs technical energy audits and ECM payback calculations; drafts technical reports on findings.
• Provides engineering and technical support for project development and implementation and coordinates with facility personnel to optimize the operations and energy use of energy systems and equipment.

Engineer II – Mid Level (2–5 years)

• Demonstrated experience independently executing major portions of energy projects, including leading site assessments, performing energy and cost‑savings calculations, and managing technical deliverables. Capable of coordinating with facility staff, overseeing implementation tasks, and contributing to project planning and design.

Engineer III – Senior Level (5+ years)

• Extensive experience leading full‑cycle energy projects, from opportunity development through implementation and verification. Proven ability to manage client relationships, oversee multidisciplinary teams, develop advanced energy strategies, and ensure successful delivery of complex ECMs and system upgrades.

We are partnered with a leading developer and owner-operator of utility-scale renewable energy projects, looking to add a Senior Counsel to their team. This role will report directly to the General Counsel. We are open to candidates in Austin, Houston, or Chicago.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited Law School, and membership in at least 1 state bar association.
• 5+ years of legal experience in the renewable energy sector, with ideally 2+ years working in-house.
• Experience working with large-scale renewable energy projects
• Comfortable wearing many hats and working in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and effective risk management across departments such as development, finance, construction, market operations, and asset management, all in relation to the development and construction of battery storage projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various documents necessary for the development and construction of renewable energy projects, including options, purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, subordination agreements, surface waivers, and other related documents.
• Prepare and negotiate interconnection agreements, permits, regulatory filings, and other contractual agreements tied to the development and construction of projects.
• Assist with title-related matters, including reviewing title documents, resolving title issues, negotiating title insurance policies, and handling related concerns.
• Evaluate risks throughout all stages of project development and communicate those risks to both internal and external stakeholders, while developing and implementing strategies for risk mitigation and management.
• Support finance activities such as acquisitions, divestitures, tax credit monetization, debt, and equity investments.
• Provide guidance on tax credit issues related to the development and construction of energy projects.
• Advise on and assist with various other legal matters as necessary.

Duties:

• Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, etc.).

The Project Developer or Senior Project Developer will lead the development of commercial and industrial solar, storage, and EVSE projects across the United States, from project mandate through internal handoff to construction. Level and title will be determined based on the candidate's experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of project development in the C&I space, with Senior Project Developer candidates demonstrating deeper experience leading complex, multi-technology projects independently. This role reports directly to the Director of Customer Programs and is supported by the Account Management, Engineering, Financing, Legal, and Construction teams at PowerFlex to deliver turnkey, multi-technology solutions.

The is a hybrid position that will require travel to the company headquarters in Belle Vernon, PA on at least a quarterly basis. The candidate is responsible for prospecting and selling Fleet Solutions services to regional trucking companies located throughout the United States. The candidate will also be responsible for servicing an established base of customers. The function of the sales position is to initiate phone contact with transportation / trucking companies, uncover their fueling needs, and build a plan to sign them as a customer or convert their fleet cards to Fuelman or Pacific Pride.
