What You Will Do:
- Supports all aspects of a software development life cycle as members of a multi-disciplined team. This would include supporting new and legacy military and commercial programs from concept and requirements, to design, development, integration, test, and potentially subsequent maintenance tasking.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Hybrid Position Description A Senior Load Balancer Engineer is responsible for leading and/or working on the most complex IT infrastructure, modification, installation, testing, implementation, and support of new or existing system hardware and software products.
This classification needs to plan, install, configure, test, implement and manage core system hardware and software products in support of an organization’s IT architecture and business needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist LAWA with planning of procurements and setting pre‐award schedules for contracts including Board actions
- Assist in coordination of Pre‐Bid/Proposal Meetings to present the Project and RFB/RFP to potential bidder/proposers.

What You Will Do:

The hiring range for this position in California is $123,300 to $200,300 per year. Ride Control Hardware Engineers work within Walt Disney Imagineering’s Ride Studio in a highly collaborative environment on diverse teams. Engineering activities cover all aspects of control system design and implementation, from concept to commissioning, for a wide variety of innovative ride platforms.
The Ride Control Hardware Engineer will report to the Ride Control Systems Engineering Executive.
This is a full time role.
Support programmable, electrical, and electronic hardware scope to design and deliver control systems for complex, innovative ride systems
Perform engineering design and analysis for ride systems, focusing on electrical control systems
Develop control system and network architectures
Design, model, and analyze electrical supply systems
Research new products, technologies, and methodologies
Lead a team of ride control engineers and collaborate with other professionals to develop ride control systems
Develop control equipment requirements and specifications
Conduct hazard assessments and failure modes and effects analysis
Manage vendors, contractors, and consultants developing and implementing ride control systems
Ensure all delivery and performance requirements are satisfied
Conduct factory acceptance tests and ride system installation
10+ Years experience in the Engineering field as related to controlling electromechanical systems
~ Extensive knowledge of control processors, components, and communication networks
~ Highly proficient in industrial control system installation, integration, and commissioning

Who we are looking for:
You will primarily provide engineering support on drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, and water resources projects. This position offers the opportunity to direct and collaborate with a team of junior and mid-level staff while providing the ability to consistently work with mid- and senior-level technical staff and leadership across the organization. The ideal candidate is a technically focused individual with strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and systems and experienced in engaging with client stakeholders such as operators, superintendents, and public officials to understand how to support their needs. Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, distribution, and collection systems is preferred. You will lead the technical delivery of multiple projects, must be familiar with local and federal regulations, and be able to support marketing and proposal efforts.
What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:
Act as the Project Manager for all sizes of projects
Work alongside Technical Manager(s), when needed, to lead the technical approach and delivery of projects.
Prepare and deliver presentations and training programs to internal and external clients and professional associations.
Support business development efforts under the direction of a client manager to provide technical support and guidance to a range of clients
What You Will Need To Succeed:
10-15 years of engineering experience.
A B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or an M.S. Degree is preferred.
Registered Professional Engineer in California
The successful candidate will have technical and project delivery expertise in civil and environmental engineering and an in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with all types of municipal water and wastewater systems, including water supply and treatment processes and distribution and collection systems infrastructure.
Knowledgeable in state bidding laws and funding programs.
Up to date on the latest technological advances, regulatory trends, equipment, and processes.
Superior writing, communication, and presentation skills.
