ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Estimating Leadership

• Lead and manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects from conceptual through final bid documents.
• Establish bid strategies and ensure complete, accurate scope coverage across all divisions.
• Review and validate all estimates prior to submission, ensuring that pricing aligns with project drawings, vendor proposals, and company standards.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to estimating staff on takeoffs, bid leveling, and proposal documentation.
• Identify and communicate value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.
  

Bid and Proposal Management

• Manage the full bid process from RFP intake through submission, including document control, trade solicitation, bid coverage, and leveling.
• Develop project-specific scope sheets and bid forms, confirming all trades have complete and current information.
• Lead bid-day analysis and ensure that all proposals reflect a complete and accurate scope.
• Assemble and deliver professional, client-ready proposal packages that communicate clarity, confidence, and alignment with project requirements.
• Support pre-bid meetings and post-bid interviews as needed to represent MAC’s estimating team.
  

Preconstruction Collaboration

• Collaborate with design teams, project managers, and field leadership to identify constructability issues, schedule implications, and risk areas.
• Partner with operations on handoff deliverables, ensuring all bid assumptions, vendor selections, and clarifications are documented and accessible in Procore.
• Participate in project handoff meetings and support field teams in understanding estimate logic and scope breakdowns.
  

Vendor and Subcontractor Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable coverage.
• Lead pre-bid scope review calls and ensure alignment on inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Review and level all subcontractor bids, tracking historical data for future reference.
• Maintain MAC’s preferred vendor database and ensure consistent communication with trade partners.
  

Process Improvement & Data Management

• Support the development and refinement of MAC’s preconstruction procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain historical cost data and use it to inform conceptual and schematic budgets.
• Assist in establishing performance metrics for estimating accuracy, proposal timeliness, and bid hit rate.
• Leverage technology (Procore, ProEst, Bluebeam, Excel, Smartsheet) to streamline estimating workflows.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR

• Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures across commercial building types.
• Proficiency in Procore, ProEst (or equivalent estimating software), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with data center, industrial, or MEP-intensive project estimating preferred.
• Ability to lead meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors confidently and professionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of progressive estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience in both conceptual and hard-bid estimating is required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The typical annual base salary range for this role is $95-129k. The base salary offer will depend on experience and other relevant factors. This role is eligible for project bonuses as well as an annual incentive plan.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks and contributes to month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Work closely with the Regional Center of Excellence leaders to verify quality of programs and processes via audit and self-assessment tools
   

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (preferably in an Environmental Management discipline, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
• A master’s degree or equivalent is preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• 3-5 years of working knowledge and expertise in Environmental regulations and maintaining compliance with pertinent regulations is required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Meditech data engineering specialist to support healthcare data archiving and legacy application retirement projects.

This role focuses on extracting data from legacy Meditech systems and transforming it into relational SQL databases while also preserving Meditech reporting outputs and report logic for use within an archive platform.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Meditech Client/Server data structures, NPR reporting frameworks, and the Meditech data dictionary. This individual will design and implement processes that convert Meditech hierarchical data structures into normalized relational schemas and enable reproduction or preservation of Meditech reports within a long-term archive environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support business process improvement projects across Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, New Product Development, and Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning

Must-Haves:

- Bachelor's degree

- 5 Years+ Development experience, at least 3 of which should be in a non-junior role

- Ability to at minimum read/understand Ansible/Python code (preferrable if they can develop in those languages)

- Experience designing and implementing development solutions for complex problems that comprised at least 2 months of work.

- Experience running projects that span multiple teams or disparate segments

- Ability to provide a GitHub link to a repository of development examples (personal projects are acceptable)

- Ability to communicate complex technical details in a direct, concise and understandable way.

- History in working at least one effort which required code to direct connect to servers, virtual machines or network devices.

- Experience in developing code utilizing API calls

- At least one job where troubleshooting or code testing was a demonstrated component of the work.

- At least one job where mentoring/training was a demonstrated component of the work.

Plus:

- Experience working with Ansible and Python, or (less preferred) Powershell

- AWX, AAP and/or Puppet Enterprise experience

- Previous work in IT within a regulated industry (banking or government)

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or similar
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience
• Utility industry experience

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Plan, organize, and coordinate project activities across multiple phases.
• Apply project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) effectively.
• Communicate clearly through meetings, updates, and written/oral reports.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
• Oversee vendor management: RFP development, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hold teams accountable.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coach and develop team members on PM principles and techniques.
• Analyze and improve designs, systems, procedures, schedules, and costs.

Day-to-Day Overview

This role requires a customer-focused and motivated individual who can thrive in a collaborative environment. Multiple PMs will join the team, so growth opportunities are available. Responsibilities include managing or assisting with projects of varying complexity through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. The PM ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Additional duties include maintaining transparency, driving continuous improvement, and supporting informed decision-making. The role emphasizes organizational standards, safety compliance, and process optimization to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction.
