Job Details We are seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to lead and oversee the design and execution of structural engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on educational facilities including K–12 schools, colleges, and universities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex structural projects from concept through construction, ensuring high-quality deliverables, technical excellence, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of structural engineering projects, including planning, design, coordination, and construction administration.

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on K–12 or higher education facility design.

Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar programs.

Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, CBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience: Experience with DSA (Division of the State Architect) requirements and approval processes for California school projects.

Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED-certified projects.

Experience coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and educational clients.

Compensation:


The salary offered to the right candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s experience and qualifications, education, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is only one part of Terra-Petra’s generous Total Compensation package. Our Total Compensation package includes base salary, a year-end bonus program, paid time off (PTO), and health, dental and vision benefits as well as a 401(k) contributions plan.
