As a Systems Safety Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Systems & Safety team and will report to the Systems & Safety Manager. The Systems & Safety Team is responsible for architecting systems which support novel safety-critical functions, establishing development methodologies for new technologies, and comply with the federal regulations.

As part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to expanding the aircraft's operational and functional capabilities. Your professional experience in aircraft and system safety will further strengthen the team's ability to meet rigorous expectations of stakeholders and certification authorities. You will collaborate with members from other groups within Reliable Robotics to ensure the safety of new and novel systems necessary for unmanned aircraft operations.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Systems Safety Engineer you will contribute to the development and architectural design supporting the delivery of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems in a dynamic start-up work environment.

You will have these responsibilities:

  • Apply systems safety methodologies as defined by industry standards

  • Develop new processes / methodologies used to certify autonomous / remote operations

  • Perform safety activities in coordination with design, development and verification of aviation systems including: Generate safety artifacts such as FHAs & Safety Assessments for aircraft, systems and equipment. Generate reliability or testability assessments to support safety activities. Validate safety requirements in collaboration with systems teams. Ensure consistency between the safety activities and development activities.

  • Support flight operations with safety of flight assessments for experimental operations

You'll also have the opportunity to interact with other domains within Reliable Robotics and become involved in a broad task spectrum not limited to typical system safety engineering activities.

Basic Success Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline

The Avionics Hardware team is a small group of highly motivated engineers who develop the core compute, actuation, sensing, and power electronics products at the heart of our automation system. As an Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will drive development of electrical components and sub-systems across our airborne and test platforms from the circuit-board level up through integrated systems and everything in between.

In your role as Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. Job Description: Role Summary This is an onsite contract role based at Client's Palo Alto Headquarters.

The Endpoint Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization's device ecosystem.

This role focuses on automating the lifecycle of hardware and virtual desktops to ensure a seamless, secure, and zero-touch experience for our global workforce.

You will serve as the subject matter expert for Apple and Windows management and our cloud desktop infrastructure.

Technical Environment Apple (macOS and iOS): Jamf Pro Windows and Android: Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager Virtual Desktop: Amazon WorkSpaces (AWS) Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python Key Responsibilities 1.

Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Daily Operations: Perform daily upkeep, system maintenance, and regular patch management for all managed endpoints to ensure security and stability.

Service Desk Escalation: Serve as the final point of contact and subject matter expert for service desk escalations related to complex endpoint issues.

Apple Fleet: Architect and maintain the Jamf Pro environment for all macOS and iOS devices.

Manage configuration profiles, policies, and patch management.

Windows and Android: Lead the administration of Microsoft Intune, ensuring robust policy application, security baselines, and application delivery.

Provisioning: Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Windows Autopilot to deliver a true zero-touch deployment experience.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Administer and optimize Amazon WorkSpaces.

Manage WorkSpaces directories, custom bundles, and image creation/maintenance.

Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues within the AWS ecosystem.

Automation and Engineering Develop and maintain sophisticated scripts in PowerShell and Bash to automate manual tasks and integrate system APIs.

Build and maintain a library of packaged software (dmg, pkg, msi) for silent deployment.

Implement automated reporting for hardware inventory, license compliance, and security auditing.

Security and Compliance Enforce endpoint security standards, including FileVault/BitLocker encryption and EDR agent health.

Partner with Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities across the endpoint fleet.

Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 3 5 years in an Endpoint Engineering or MDM-focused role.

Jamf Mastery: Proven experience managing both macOS and iOS at scale via Jamf Pro.

Intune Proficiency: Experience managing Windows environments through Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

VDI Expertise: Hands-on experience with Amazon WorkSpaces administration.

BYOD Deployment: Experience deploying and managing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for personal mobile phones (iOS/Android).

Advanced Scripting: Ability to write and debug Bash and PowerShell scripts from scratch.

Identity: Understanding of Okta or Azure AD (Entra ID) as it relates to device enrollment and SSO.

Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Jamf 200/300, Microsoft MD-102, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are a plus.

As a Hardware Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a key part of the Hardware Test team. This is a small team of broadly experienced engineers that strive to ensure that all hardware being produced meets the stringent requirements for aviation. Hardware Test Engineers are one of the essential interfaces between the design, production, and flight test teams and are exposed to a wide variety of technical challenges.

You will be creating automated test stands to replicate extreme flight conditions on our hardware and mechanisms that will serve as the backbone of our qualification testing. You will help to break our development hardware, help root-cause the failure modes, and provide critical input in redesigning it. You will be writing the software and building the hardware platforms for the command, control and data collection systems that will test our systems to rigorous aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the design, build, and maintenance of mechanical or electrical test stands for development testing, production acceptance testing, functional and environmental qualification testing

  • Automate the repetitive aspects of the test stands

  • Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports

Basic Success Criteria
