Position Summary
The Senior Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the strategic direction, performance, and continuous improvement of all end-to-end supply chain functions including:
- Logistics and Transportation
- Purchasing and Supplier Management

- Quality Across the Global Supply Chain
This leader ensures alignment across Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Talent while driving standardized processes, strong financial performance, and best-in-class customer service across the enterprise. The role functions as a change agent and senior leadership partner, leading cross-functional initiatives that support company growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership across global logistics, transportation, inventory, and quality functions.
- Lead and develop functional teams.
- Serve as escalation point for supply chain and service performance risks.
- Align supply chain strategy with company growth, product roadmap, and customer service objectives.
Logistics & Transportation Strategy
- Direct and optimize global inbound freight, domestic distribution, and outbound customer shipments.
- Oversee carrier strategy, contract negotiations, and freight cost optimization across all modes (parcel, LTL, TL, OTR, ocean).
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, tariffs, and customs documentation.
- Lead logistics planning for DC start-ups, network expansions, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and manage freight budgets, cost controls, and variance reporting processes.
Purchasing & Supplier Strategy
- Develop and execute enterprise purchasing strategies aligned to cost, service, and inventory targets.
- Lead supplier relationship management, negotiations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with Product Management and Sales to align buying strategies with demand and product lifecycle planning.
- Monitor demand forecasts, market trends, and supply risks to support business continuity.
- Lead and develop purchasing teams and vendor performance programs.
Inventory & Network Optimization
- Establish network inventory strategy including safety stock models, turns improvement, and working capital optimization.
- Drive network balancing strategies across distribution centers.
- Implement systems, analytics, and reporting tools to improve inventory visibility and accuracy.
- Partner with Finance to optimize inventory investment and cost structure.
Quality & Supply Chain Integrity
- Lead enterprise quality strategy across suppliers, internal operations, and customer delivery.
- Oversee supplier quality performance, defect reduction programs, and cost recovery processes.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
- Partner with Product Management, Purchasing, and Operations to prevent recurring quality issues.
- Establish quality metrics, reporting, and governance processes.
Financial & Performance Accountability
- Own supply chain operating budgets including freight, inventory, procurement, and network costs
- Establish enterprise KPI scorecards covering:

Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years progressive leadership experience across supply chain, logistics, procurement, and operations.
- 5+ years leading global end-to-end supply chain.
- Strong background in carrier negotiations, inbound ocean freight, and domestic distribution.
- Demonstrated success leading Demand Planning and SIOP
- Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologies preferred.
- Proven success managing large budgets and cost optimization programs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree, preferred

Position Overview

The Senior Director of Federal Programs provides strategic leadership and rigorous oversight of the district supplemental funding streams. This role is responsible for the entire life cycle of state and federal grants, from application and strategic alignment of funds to strict monitoring of allowability, compliance, and audit readiness. The Senior Director ensures that resources are deployed to maximize student achievement, particularly for emergent bilingual (EB) students and Title I populations, while maintaining a culture of fiscal integrity.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Masters degree in education, educational leadership, public administration, finance, or related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a public school district.
- Proven track record of managing Title I-IV programs at central office level in a mid to large size district.
Required Skills
- Expert level understanding of education department, general administration regulations (EDGAR) and ESSA statutes.
- Ability to interpret complex, financial data and apply strict “allowability” tests to spending requests.
- Knowledge of Title III supplement/supplant rules and the interplay between state, bilingual allotment and federal funding.
- Ability to explain complex, federal regulations to campus principles and communicate in a way that clarifies the heavily bureaucratic nature of state funding.

Primary Duties
Fiscal Oversight and Monitoring
- Scrutinize and approve all expenditures under Titles I-IV, ensuring every dollar is supplemental and meets the necessary, reasonable, and applicable criteria.
- Develop and implement internal audit protocols to review school level and departmental spending, proactively identifying potential compliance risks before state or federal audits.
- Collaborate with the financial department to ensure accurate tracking, carryover management, and timely drawdown of funds.
Strategic Leadership
- Advise Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives on the alignment and blending of federal funds to support large scale district goals (MTSS, literacy initiatives, and EB program expansion).
- Lead the comprehensive needs assessment (CNA) and district improvement plan (DIP) process to ensure spending is directly tied to identified data driven needs.
Programmatic Supervision
- Supervise the Director of Bilingual Education, providing high-level oversight of Title III and allotment funds to ensure legal compliance with state and federal mandates for EB students.
- Supervise the Director of Federal Programs to ensure the 100+ school portfolio remains compliant with schoolwide and/or targeted assistance requirements.
- Work with the training department to ensure Title II funds are aligned to brand-specific improvement goals.
- Ensure that parent and family engagement requirements are met with high-quality and measurable impact.
Compliance and Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Texas Education Agency (TEA), agency monitors, and independent auditors.
- Oversee the timely accurate submission of the consolidated federal grant application and all required compliance report reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain current electrical licensing and required training.
- Interpret and apply blueprints and technical drawings on the jobsite.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).

Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience with electronic assembly and test in a medical device industry preferred.
* High School Diploma or equivalency is required, preferred AAS
* 2 or more years experience with electromechanical assemblies/electronic manufacturing, technical certifications, etc. preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in troubleshooting equipment, building and or testing of electronic assemblies
* Working knowledge of IPC standards and use of complex tools and equipment specific to functional areas
* Experience in GMP, ISO, and FDA controlled environments preferred
* Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
