The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Test Architect to support the NASAMS® surface to air defense system programs. The Test Architect (TA) will be accountable for architecting a technically sound approach for the Test and Evaluation (T&E) strategy for the entire lifecycle of the product along with influencing the prime item architecture to support that strategy.

 

What You Will Do

• Responsible for test strategy for all aspects of the program and defines metrics to gauge progress.

• Responsible for defining or optimizing test environments and requirements to ensure on-time deliveries.

• Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on test strategy, coordination, execution, and reporting activities.

• Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Directorate Leads, Chief Engineers, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs).

• Coordinate with other program disciplines to draw on their SMEs to address emergent issues across the systems, software, and hardware domains.

• Represent the interests of the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) discipline on the program.

• Interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share test status, issues, and address programmatic concerns.

• Knowledge base for Model Based Systems Engineering and how to use this in Integration and Test for test strategy.

• International travel up to 20%, Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience with formal system test activities, including ground tests, flight tests, system verification, and system integration check out events

• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start.

In this role you will collaborate internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and U.S. Government customers to plan, prepare and execute Product Acceptance Testing and System Demonstration of the NASAMS Fire Unit. This position reports into the overall NASAMS SI&T Cross Product Team Lead.

What You Will Do:

• Support the test architect in the integration and test strategy development and implementation to include metric collection and tracking.

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer/Technician tobe part of a great team with minimal weekend travel. Primary focus will be on automation projects and customer service calls and visits dealing with controls, data acquisition, wiring and other related issues. Primary Objective:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical liaison to customers, providing confidence in engineering expertise and guiding them through technical discussions of clarity and feasibility of proposed opportunities.
• Engage with customers to understand and provide relevant feedback (e.g., opportunities to drive down cost without impacting efficacy) on technical details of their quote requests and design elements.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree or related field preferred. Appropriate experience may be considered.

• Candidate must have experience with technical design, technical process, and customer engagement in technical sales or engineering roles.

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Sr. Principal RF Module Design/Development Engineer to join our Module Development Section with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department as a technical lead. The AMS department designs, fabricates, and tests state-of-the-art Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs) in our on-site foundry. These chips are designed into custom modules to support multiple programs and enhance the capabilities of next generation radar systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical design and development of RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products. This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development. This position requires a strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave Design, Development, Integration & Test.

• Designing RF structures and transitions on multi-layer, multi-channel RF Modules and analog circuitry enabling both receive and transmit behavior

• Consulting across RF module design, MMIC design and assembly teams

• Troubleshooting RF Modules that are prototyped and under development

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field and Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience (An advanced STEM degree could count for 3 years of experience) with Microwave/RF module, subsystem and component analysis, design, and test

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• A Master’s degree or PhD. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field 

• Experience leading teams and/or projects

• Experience in module/sub-system assembly & packaging process

• Experience in thermal modeling and analysis.

• Experience of different topology trade-offs, process and active/passive component selection, system/sub-system level, gain-loss analysis and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level

• Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST.

• Layout experience in Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition, Cadence Virtuoso or AutoCAD

• Experience with analytical tools such as Matlab, Python, or JMP

• Experience in cost estimating, budget and schedule management

• Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level

• Experience in a production environment

• Experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)

• Experience with GaAs and/or GaN MMIC devices

• Current DoD Secret level security clearance

Contract opportunity available for a network security engineer. In this role, you will help take enterprise security solutions from concept to release, collaborating with software and security engineers to protect network using cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with network engineering and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure visibility requirements are met and network-based threats can be detected efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the current configuration management and orchestration environment, identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and drive the design and implementation of a modern, scalable solution
• Define state architecture and engineering standards (patterns, guardrails, CI/CD, configuration governance) for the NSM platform
• Lead design reviews and architectural decision records (ADRs), ensuring solutions meet security, reliability, and operability requirements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of network engineering, network visibility architecture, or network security engineering
• Experience designing and operating large-scale telemetry/visibility platforms (high-throughput packet capture, sensor fleets, log pipelines)
• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, or equivalent)
• Experience with enterprise configuration management and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, Terraform)
• Expertise in analyzing and optimizing systems for capacity, performance, and operational health
• Ability to diagnose issues across system, application, and network layers
• Experience in production environments with change control and operational discipline
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and firewall concepts
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar for automation and tooling
• Ability to communicate engineering solutions through detailed diagrams and documentation
