Responsibilities
- This role will be heavily active in the field during the construction phase of a project, coordinating with subcontractors and crews, verifying quality of work, answering engineering questions and/or resolving issues that may pop up in real time.
- Assist in development of project plan as requested. Specifically, provide support to Project Manager(s) through helping to develop business cases by gathering requirements, building investment decision models, etc.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager(s) in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
- Prepare and forward submittals. Confirm submittal complies with plans/specs.

In this Systems Engineer role, you may support some of the following types of activities:
Core Systems Engineering: Develop system architecture and model using Model Based Systems Engineering. Conduct trade studies based on Concept of Operations. Perform Test Planning: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing
Integrate Systems: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact. Perform Platform Integration, Flight Test, Qualification, Design Verification Execution
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
Support Missions: Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
