The Intern/Co-Op position at Maxcess Rotometrics is targeting Junior or Senior level undergraduate students currently enrolled in an Accredited engineering program at a College or University. This position will provide an opportunity for the student to work alongside the engineering team to support the design and manufacturing of converting tools (rotary dies, print cylinders, etc). This type of tooling is used to convert materials into labels for wine/beer bottles, medical and automotive devices (band aid's, gaskets) and non-wovens (diapers, face masks).

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of lean manufacturing processes, experience with machine controls (CAM, PLC, VBA, Python), servos and step motors, and interest in machine design and automation. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, proficient in 2D design/drawings along with 3D Modeling, able to read component blueprints, Microsoft Office. Programming skills (C, C++,.NET, VB), ERP System understanding and FEA a plus.

Research current products, bill of materials and develop understanding of how the product flows thru production. This role will support engineering team in a continuous improvement environment with projects that may span multi sites. This manager leads a team of Loads and Dynamics Engineers who conduct Flight Loads, Ground Loads, as well as dynamics/flutter work for a major program integrated product team.
The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of aircraft loads and dynamics with deep experience expected in at least one specialty loads area like Flight loads, ground loads, or flutter.
