The surgical nurse acts as the patients advocate during the surgical procedure. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. We are seeking a dynamic RN with excellent attention to detail and clinical reasoning skills to join our Neurosurgery outpatient practice!
Under the direction of the practice physician and/or advanced practice provider (APP) and the supervision of the Nurse Manager (RN) and/or Nurse Supervisor (RN), the RN may provide direct patient care, patient triage (in-person and telephonic), assessment, planning, directing and evaluating of a patient’s specific care plan and clinic visit. Able to work effectively within a team of multi-specialty professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
o Obtains and accurately record patient’s vital signs; reports abnormal values to treating provider
o Obtains and documents a patient’s history (Medical, Surgical and Social) and focused physical assessment, related to the clinic visit and as dictated by clinic procedure
o Administers medications and treatments to patients in clinic, under the direction of a physician or APP
o Participates in in-office procedure, as related to clinic specialty, under the direction and supervision of a Physician or APP and documents results in EHR

Minimum Qualifications:

This position is responsible for ensuring that our product is manufactured and assembled to meet our customer deadlines. You will assemble component parts into high quality water control gates. Combining sub-assemblies into one complete unit by following all standard operating procedures, ensuring that all quality standards are met.
Attaching sealants and gaskets along frames according to specifications and drawings
Reading technical documents, prints and work instructions, using templates, jigs and fixtures to execute minor part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing
Using hand and power tools to complete assembly
Touching up of products prior to shipment to meet company quality standards
Using grinding wheels and chemical cleaners to prepare materials for assembly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including cleaning equipment, performing tool and equipment maintenance, and removing debris or obstructions
Utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks to move product as needed
