Experience in Family Law areas, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, support, and asset division is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage a full and active caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence.
- Provide legal counsel to clients and advocate for their best interests in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients and opposing counsel.
- Collaborate with paralegals and other associates to ensure quality service and client satisfaction.
Qualifications Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of California
- Good Standing with the California State Bar Association.
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
